Lol yes. She parodies songs, for example she has parodied some of Michael's songs and Whitney Houston's oh and some other
artists as well.

I've been singing this latley and I then heard it on the radio, and it seems like a song the LITD girl (if she exists) would be singing and relating to. I would think especially when June 24th arrives ...knowing what the next day means, and all...of course.

EDIT: I'm referring to if there were ever strategies set up to try to discourage her or to try to keep her and MJ apart at all costs. Would she pick up on it and, being a woman of God, if "she" is, would she start "fighting" in her spirit...meaning prayer? You know, it could be possible that many in MJ's life, like work associates, acquaintainces, friends, family, and even fans, could feel they know who would be best for MJ to "be" with, and maybe after getting wind of the LITD girl, well, she might not be their first or even their last choice for him. Would they "intervene" for (their justification) his sake? Do you think they ever did?

Would the LITD girl not have let herself be discouraged by their games or efforts if others were trying to discourage her, but, instead, stand on what she knows, that she knows, is something from God, and remember then, that this would apply, for her and MJ,

"any weapon formed against them will not prosper".

Because God will have His way.

Another example of needing to not rely alone by what you see in the natural that is going on, but to look through the eyes of faith.

I say stilness is the best way to fight sometimes because sometimes someone may wish to "see"someone fight and yet the best fighting is someimes done in stillness.

I, for my own personal reasons like the idea of "them" having a "Benship" type of friendship but I agree that we all feel we know what's best for MJ. That is so funny to me. The good news is we all get to interpret, yay!, so I do hope "she" is a "Ben-friend" and has the importance of his good name tucked deeply in the creases of her heart - eh just call me romantic

You know, I used to not like this song back in the day when it first came out. My best friend apparently did, though. I remember a funny story she told about how she was visiting New York and she was screaming this song from the top of her lungs out her hotel window! lol! But hearing it now and in light of what you were talking about, it really is eerily appropriate for this thread at this time.

Yes, I believe that if your spirit is in tune with God's Spirit, you would eventually pick up in your spirit that you are indeed in the midst of some kind of spiritual warfare and you would either have to stand your ground and fight or just give up. I am sure there were times they both became weary from the fight and wanted to give up, but I'm sure God's Sprit kept encouraging their spirits.

I too have had a song running through my mind, but it is kinda ... well ... "romantic" I guess you could say. Kinda makes me blush a bit, but if I get the courage I would like to post it 'cause there is one particular part that makes me think of that "struggle" you were talking about.

Thanks for thinking about me guys. Well the acting thing isn't a career. I've made a total of $300 from my acting so I'll just call it a hobby/passion. Most of what I do is volunteer. I am currently directing a play for the first time. Usually I just act in them. But all that's probably pretty boring to you guys and nothing to do with this thread..lol.

I forget what I had to say about all this. Most likely we will never know the truth regarding Michael and his love life...and that's ok..and I know this thread isn't so much about that as about the story his music has told. Also it is about the story we hear and discover and imagine out of it all. So this thread is a collaborative effort of the fans and Michael together, whether he knew about it or not, whether it is all fantasy or not.

I think I was going to say something about what Shila said a while back about...hmm.. I'm going to have to go find it again. I have a bit of time right now. I can see.
 
Thanks. It's different. Kind of fun when the actors are open to what I want to try. Not so fun when they aren't. I am not a pushy person.

Well, I was not going to return to this thread as I thought it came to its dead end or to its logical end, but as it seems it continues I will add my 10 cents. From my point of view it were not friends, work associates, acquaintances and so on that were keeping them apart. I think it were bad choices of both of them. Some people after going through a sequence of bad choices finally find their right road so to say, for some is too late, some never find their right road. So if to take Bible there are two powers operating in this world - good and evil. Let's imagine that when God wanted her approach him Devil interfered in the form of bad choice called "Lisa Marie", when she wanted again the next bad choice called Debbie appeared. After MJ got free from bad choices maybe she did her bad choices as well. And finally when God wanted it to happen, evil interfered again in the form of bad choice number three called Doctor Conrad Murray.

the lyrics differs much and the melody was changed from jolly to somehow sad. So I wonder why they call it an old song if it was completely changed. I guess it was maybe changed for a girl, because there is a message in reversed "This is it" here:

I also read that many musicians nowadays put these backmasked messages into their songs on purpose. When it's not done on purpose it is said that when the song is backmasked (reversed) by special software one can find online then it's just a number of senseless syllables. So I suggest to study lyrics of both songs and suggest why the song has been changed so much, especially the text.

You are very insightful, Magicgirl. Also, don't forget the allegations of '93 and the trial of '05. I think these were also attempts to keep them apart. I think the outcome of the trial in '05 must have made the devil very, VERY angry! Hearing "Not Guilty" on all 14 counts must have been excruciatingly painful for his ears. Some of the tribulations in the years that followed, including June 25, 2009, were probably his "punishment" for such an overwhelming victory. I also think he tried to separate Michael from his children, too.

But ... you are right. The devil may have his plan (and in the end it always backfires on him), but God has His plan, too -- and He don't like losing!

Sony is evil as well, why would they hide for themselves all 100 hours of rehearsals of "This is it" on video, and let the fans watch only 6 hours of that. What is there on the original tape? Did they give MJ some kind of poison during rehearsals?

So with such powerful enemies MJ couldn't let LITD girl into his life except than in dreams and songs or any other girl as well. Not until he would have finished his crusade.
