Any other random person who decided to leave their children/children they are responsible for and not contact them for over 1 week would have a missing report filed against them.

Poor MJs kids.... How does this make them feel really?

If KJ's statement is real. It's just proving that she is not capable of the guardian job. She should be able to tell right from wrong not protecting her kids with no reason. I can't image how MJ3 would feel when you heard you grandmother just left you and don't bother to call you for 10 days at all. If I were the kids, I would feel being abandon by my grandma. How can Katherine make such statement? Did she ever think about how MJ3 would feel? When they sit at home and worried to death and all they hear is I just give up my phone? Now, I hope the judge won't give the guardianship back to KJ. I am sorry but the whole thing is unbelievable.

Joe Jackson has been living at the famous Jackson compound in Encino recently ... but no one knows how he got in ... and it appears he's a garden variety squatter.

As we previously reported, Joe was seen entering the home today ... and yesterday, it appeared the home got a visit from some medical personnel ... presumably to perform some tests on Joe.

The house is owned by the Michael Jackson Estate. Katherine Jackson has no legal claim to the property.

Sources tell TMZ ... the Estate is paying $30,000 per month for the Calabasas home where Katherine and Michael's kids have been living.

The only way Joe could be living in the Encino house legally is if he got permission from the Estate ... and sources connected with the Jackson family tell TMZ ... no such permission was ever given.

Sources tell us ... it ain't the Ritz because the house is currently undergoing extensive renovation.

Bottom line ... Joe Jackson + lots of sawdust = not a pretty picture.

Katherine seems to select who to communicate with among her grandchildren! Being with Rebbie and her children and grandchildren is perfectly alright and cannot stress her but being with Michael's children can cause her harm and annoyance! What have they done to this woman? I guess she cannot stand for her grandchildren like she couldn't stand for her own children when Joe was beating and manipulating them to gain money and fame! She cannot be a guardianship anymore and she is to blame as equally as her offsprings! What a shame!

Erin Jacobs was just HLN defending Michael’s children on behalf of the fans furiously… She said Paris needs to keep her cell phone near so she can alert her father’s fan base if/when she needs help. The panel on the program are not making the family look good. Jane Velez-Michael brought up Randy and Jermaine fathering children by the same woman and asking the MJ Estate to pay their child support. The shear desperation on the part of Randy, Janet and Rebbie during this monumental debacle shows me that they all must believe that they have lost their AEG lawsuit along with the hope of getting their hands on a big free payday. Their actions show rage and utter kamikaze like determination to refocus on getting a part of Michael’s Will. I would say that the press is 99.9% behind the children and this has turned into a PR disaster especially for Janet and Randy.
 
Katherine seems to think that it's okay to just go on vacation and leave young children behind to anxiously wait for you without knowing where you are or how to reach you (or at least that's what she just said). Who cares if the children are stressed, as long as she can relax.

This reminds me of this story:

I think Katherine should not have guardianship. I'm sure she's a loving grandmother, and that's what her role should be. She could still visit or even go live with them, but the kids need a guardian who can and will protect them. Katherine has been failing at protecting them from their own family members for the last 3 years. I don't know if TJ will be a better guardian, but at this point I think he should have a try at it. Can't really be worse than belts, perfume and Oprah anyway...

Another reason is that my children launched a challenge against the estate and i didn't want to be forced into criticising it.

Mrs j seems to have made her loyalties clear. The interests of mj's children aren't her highest priority. And if it's a case of brainwashing and showing she's incapable of reading the situation then she's clearly not a suitable guardian of young children.

Oh Katherine, Katherine. It's hard to know if she's protecting her cubs, if she doesn't care about the kids, or if she was in the plan. I hope the judge takes notice of her reason why she didn't call the kids.

Since when is it okay to just walk away from children u are guardian of for more then a week and on top of that don't feel like calling them to let them know anything?! What a shame that she chooses to protect her children B.S and not MJ kids!

I hope TJ won't back down after Katherine got home. Base on Katherine's statement, she did not put the kid in first place. I don't know whether TJ is a good choice but Katherine is certainly not a good choice. I can't image how MJ3 would feel after hearing the statement. I feel so sorry for those three poor kids.

old info but some new tidbits

In court Wednesday, TJ's attorney, Charles A. Schultz, called the situation dire as he explained the move for temporary guardianship for the 34-year-old TJ.

"There's immediate harm to the minor children, there was a potential abduction at the house, in addition to a phone call from Katherine last night that gave us real concern," said Schultz. "We are looking at this as a Band-Aid until Miss Jackson returns or re-establishes contact with the kids."

Added Katherine's attorney Sandra Ribera: "I have reason to believe she's being held against her will."

Judge Beckloff made clear he was temporarily suspending Katherine's powers as guardian "not based on any wrongdoing on her part," and ordered that Debbie Rowe, "who is the mother to at least some of the kids" and singer Diana Ross be notified of the ruling. Ross was named in Michael Jackson's will as successor guardian.

TJ was also given the authority to hire and fire any staff members at the family compound.

LOL..This entire thread makes me laugh..Peeps need to stop looking at TMZ as a credible source and look at the facts. #1. Katherine was never missing. Obviously. #2. Paris did know her Grandmother was gone, but it was obvious that all communication was cut off. Didn't Paris know that the doctor who testified in Murray case examined Katherine? She knew what was going on, but she wasn't allowed to talk to her..Big difference. And when she didn't get her way she used twitter to make a big deal out it. #3. MJ kids were being watched by adults obviously. Katherine doesn't have to be there all the time! She is allowed to take a break. This was Paris making a simple situation seem worse than it actually is on Twitter. Jermaine said how many times that Katherine was resting? Of course Katherine came back and said she was resting. #4. Paris is obviously out of control. I agree with Gladys Knight that she needs to listen to adults because she is a CHILD. The money and status of being MJ child is starting to go to her head. #5 Katherine will be the guardian again by the end of the week.... Have mercy...

Gladys Knight needs to STFU cause no one cursed or slapped anyone That was all TMZ B.S! And it was the older Jacksons who started this mess in the press publicly with that letter not Paris. And why is Gladys promoting child abuse saying if she was in Janets place Paris would have no teeth! WTF?

I've always had my doubts about how "good" of a mother Katherine really is, but this latest interview confirms the suspicions I've had all along. She gets more praise than she truly deserves, just because she didn't beat them doesn't mean she isn't just as bad, if not WORSE than Joseph (at least with Joseph you know exactly who he is, there's not fakeness there).

Somehow Michael came out of that family with a kind and generous heart but seeing how the rest of them turned out, I never had too much faith in her taking over the responsibility of raising the grandkids. It's best they get away from Katherine before they turn out like just like her own middle aged cubs.

It's the adult around her who did that. The story was in the media before she started tweeting. She needs to listen to an adult sure, but which adults in that family? Adults who sold stories about her in the media?
