I feel with the opposition to the will, it could very well be really deep-rooted in this idea of family and entitlement that all jacksons have, even in the next generation like taj (as seen in the mjjc q and a). They just feel everything mj is theirs - mj spent his life keeping them at arms' length , but once he died they just went into automatic mode and immediately filed for ownership of the estate even though they knew branca had a copy of the will. All the comments that they have made, like joe jackson is the estate, the will maybe in ink but we are blood, we are family so how can we be accused of exploiting mj, we were the reason for mj's success etc. And their utter inability and incredulity in recognising that they cannot use the likeness of mj in all their projects even though he is their son/brother. All of it suggests that it's nothing to do with genuine concerns about suspect locations, forged signatures, misspelt names, but with a complete emotional refusal to accept that they are blocked from using and exploiting mj after death even though they feel they own him as a jackson.

For the matter of fact, randy was mad both John branca and John McClain, he called them both criminal. I think he mentioned John branca often is cause branca is the very active front man but John McClain is very private, quiet and low key. The bold part is the farfetched speculation in my opinion to rationalize randy's crazy nonsense. Michael never fired John branca, on the contrary, it's John branca resigned in 2006. Secondly, it's the fact after the trial randy screwed up Michael's finance badly and caused him a huge trouble. It ended up Michael almost sued randy in court but backed off because he is his brother. So Randy is the last person to point finger on others. Most importantly, Michael rehired john branca and other old employee for his comeback in 09, he said he wanted his old team back. If he hated John branca, he simply made a new will and replaced him with someone he liked. I kinda agree with you that qualification matters we don't have to love our coworkers to work with them. Same goes to Michael, he don't have to love branca to name him as the executor.

To me The Jacksons kept spreading the so called "michael hated John branca" and "the wrong location" is simply cause they wanted to dispute Michael's will and they are grasping the last straw.

I don’t think the speculation is farfected, just not as relevant as what Bonnie Blue and you have pointed out in his case.

Branca resigned in 2006, but MJ had fired him previously. They had an off and on relationship for over 25 years.

Don't think he hated Branca, but believe he had trust issues with him and everybody else after the trial. Finding a replacement wouldn't be a simple matter. Branca is very very good.

I think joint guardianship is okay if that is what the kids want. Whatever Randy, Jermaine, Rebbie and Janet wanted to do with their mother backfired and made things worse for them. The kids don't trust them anymore if they ever did. If Michael was close to TJ or had a good relationship with him then I think Michael would be okay with it too.

Joint custody is the better decision under this circumstance, though I always feel Diana Ross is the best choice for PPB(wishful thinking I know). The children love and trust Katherine dearly just like their father Michael so it's understandable PPB still wanted her as the guardian but the disadvantage of katherine is she was easily influenced and manipulated by her greedy children. now TJ shares the joint custody and give the power to manage the securities and other stuff so he can shield away those bad influence and let Katherine mainly focus on herself and children's wellbeing. I can see prince's input in this new arrangement. This young man know what to do.

I'm sure Prince and Paris have a lot to say. Not too sure about Blanket, but big sister and big brother will have his back.

There just "might" be some ORDER'S OF PROTECTION issued after Prince and Paris tell the investigator what really went down the other day, when Janet, Randy and Jermaine came a calling. They only have themselves to blame, they put this entire thing in motion when they decided to release that stupid letter.

Did people retweet what Prince posted like he asked? I think twitter and what Paris did actually saved Katherine. Who knows how long they would have kept her away. It put the pressure on Jermaine, Janet, Randy and Rebbie not the other way around. They wanted to be in control and threaten the estate and call the shots. They looked like greedy fools. Janet looks worse because people saw her as the normal one, whatever.

I think the kids should be talked to. There should be better things in place for their protection so this doesn't happen again. Jermaine and company have no legal rights to them, to their home and to their money. They should be kept away from them.

No the 70k is the pocket money for children such as clothes, books, entertainment, toys ect. The securities, housekeepers, all employees, rents are all paid by the estate separately. Now Katherine still controls children's monthly allowance while TJ controls the people hired in this household.

The problem is not simply that Katherine went on vacation without calling the kids. It’s that her cubs took her away as part of their plot to take over the estate (in other words: to steal the inheritance money of three orphans left with no legal guardian to protect them). And Katherine let them do that! Not only that, but she will take no measures to prevent it from happening again in the future, cause she likes to let her cubs run wild. The problem here is not just a lack of communication between her and her grandkids. It’s that she can’t protect them from their own family members. I don’t see how joint custody will resolve this problem. Will TJ stand up to his grandmother and co-guardian and tell her that “no, the children will not sign your cubs’ jackets and they will not pose for pictures with tacky perfume in their hands”? Will he?

How wonderful that TJ is ready, willing and able to take on legal responsibility for his cousins like this. I understand that he has already been doing a heck of a lot without official recognition, but he has a wife and children of his own, so I think PPB and Katherine are very fortunate.

Totally agree, but don't know if it's something that is possible. But at the very least not promote projects that are in direct contravention of the interests of their father's estate eg healtheworld, anything to do with howard mann. I cd never understand why lodise never got involved in that.

I am assuming she gives them her money that she gets every month whatever that is. They want her to get more each month so they get more. She can't give them the kids money for their things but I assume she can do whatever she wants with hers. When she dies the money all goes back to the kids so Jermaine and company will get absolutely nothing and they are panicking. Michael was wise and basically made it clear the money bank stops for these people. No matter what they say or try to deny their actions show who these people truly are and why Michael kept his distance. They lie and maybe people should start thinking that all their interventions and such with Michael were all lies too. What they are doing now is what they did to Michael.

I totally agree with the first part of your post. Paris' tweets saved Katherine, and the kids saved themselves. But Katherine has her share of responsability too. I don't want to doubt her, even if she means well, she's too easily manipulated and should learn to say NO to her "cubs". She's part of the situation IMO because she doesn't seem to set clear limits. RRJJ thought they could do it, so they did what they did. If it had been clear from the start they could not manipulate her, I'm not sure this would have happened at all.

If the kids support TJ and he is on good terms with the estate then I think he will be okay. Hopefully the judge will see more legal protection is needed for these kids. Is Michael's estate really valued at $1 billion? Even if it's not it still valued at a A LOT of money. A lot of money and that is the children's inheritance. They are targets for certain people in that family. I think if it was an everyday person they would be in big trouble not talking to the kids they are responsible for like close to 2 weeks. Katherine just disappeared to these kids and that was irresponsible.
