Re: AEG emails leak / AEG files motion for sanctions against Jacksons / Doubts surfaced early on MJ
don't you think, drunk, lazy, paranoid, basket case, destitute and etc makes Michael look bad?
It's all about what they knew or what they thought was happening.
Look to the emails. They had signed Michael for a 30 concert minimum , maximum a world tour show. Michael hadn't been on tour since 1997, hadn't been on stage since 2001. That's at least 8 years. They saw him as scared, unsure, nervous, not confident. They thought he was drinking to overcome that or would try to get out of it because he's scared. Dropping him / cancelling the concerts could have also affected his already vulnerable psyche. So they could have thought pushing him, motivating him saying "hey you can do it" could be the answer to build up his confidence.
Knowing what Murray did, knowing that he was filled with benzos and anesthesia was a totally different thing and situation. From the leaked emails we see no evidence of such knowledge.
As of now I think - based on the emails reported- AEG thought Michael wasn't mentally ready but I don't think they suspected any physical problems (he didn't have any according to the autopsy) and regular and dangerous drug use.
what exactly is the media saying about the emails? I haven't heard anything.. If anything it makes AEG look bad, not MJ. It also proves that they were all using MJ and they didn't care about him or his health. How does that hurt Michael?

I don't think AEG knew what Murray was doing to Michael. Murray told them what they wanted to hear. Look at his patients that testified. He had a way about him to convince people. He made Michael sick. Michael was healthy when he died his autopsy confirms that. But when he felt ill and one side of the body was hot and the other cold for example it was what Murray was doing. He wasn't getting proper rest to prepare.
I agree. I mean, it's obvious that they thought that something was wrong with Michael. Why were they taking Murray's word for it that Michael was fine if they had already seen for themselves that Michael was in trouble? Kenny Ortega tried to ring the alarm many times and finally got told by Murray to mind his own business after he sent Michael home for a day when Michael wasn't feeling well. Now why didn't that sound suspicious to anyone at AEG?
