It won't shake them? The JACKSONS are coping well? This is about PARIS, not them. She almost took her life and they're concerned about themselves, their public image, and the money. They know how bad this makes them look and it won't be long before we'll see Paris on TV being forced to talk about this. Acting like nothing happened won't solve anything.

They are doomed to repeat their father's life by suffering from the very thing that made him great: fame.

re the Twitter account, Raven Woods on her blog has posted really awful and cruel attacks on Paris from deranged inviduals to show the bullying that was directed at her rcently. It was disgusting that these people could say those things to a child. I am not on Twitter so I don't know but isn't there a way to filter who can or can't post ?

I agree.It blows my mind that there are people who defend the family like they never made ANY mistakes at all. I was talking to someone today who said Joe doesn't get enough credit for making MJ a star and putting him on the map. They forget that it was MJ's teachers who had him sing Climb Ev'ry Mountain and get a standing ovation when he was 5 before he did any rehearsals, etc. with Joe. They forget what he said about what Joe did to him--throwing him against the wall as hard as he could, whipping him when he was rehearsing, scaring him to death, etc. The defense of KJ and others goes on.

I do not get how people can defend parents/grandparents like Joe and KJ. Where is Lodise??? Where is Diana Ross?? I hope this is not going to be a case of sending a child back to the same exact danger to their mental and physical health.

She misses her dad and everything he provided for her. He gave her unconditional love and was probably her biggest fan. I really like to know who she thought needed the therapy in one of her tweets. I think she should stay off twitter and youtube and just avoid it. I think she should consider home school again. She needs time for herself.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask - what's with all these expectations directed at Diana Ross, saying she should swoop in and claim the kids? Has she actually been contact with MJ's kids since he passed? Or come to think of it, even before that? Is there any reason to believe that she would want to take on three teenagers at nearly 70 years of age? To me it seems far more likely that MJ named Diana Ross as possible guardian mainly out of great love and respect for her, not actually as a realistic plan B..

All I can say is, poor kids. No wonder they feel unloved. Their nannies are probably the closest thing to a supportive family at this point. :no:

If any family is a bigger media darling than the Kardashians, it would be the Jacksons.

This morning while heading into the office, I saw the cover of the New York Post. It read "The Jackson Curse," with a picture of Paris Jackson on the cover. I immediately thought, "I hope none of the Jacksons try to sell her suicide note, picture of the room, or any stories about how Debbie Rowe is brainwashing her daughter."

As you know, I'm in media, it's my job to gather as much information about every situation that goes on in the spotlight - but we must draw the line somewhere. When a child's life is on the line.

Already it seems like two thirds of the Jacksons have released statements about Paris' recent suicide attempt. Debbie was first, Katherine was next. Jackie, Marlon and Tito chimed in as well.

Look, there is something called privacy and it's time to take advantage of it.

Right now, the public doesn't need to be told "thanks for your prayers," the public doesn't need to be told anything. It's time to make sure Paris is getting the attention and the love she deserves. She is in pain and that pain needs to be examined and healed. The healing process is going to take time.

If Michael Jackson's daughter threw a fit over a Marilyn Manson concert, that's for the family to know. All too often the family's issues have played out in the public and despite it being my job to know, I am begging the Jacksons to stop. It's not too far-fetched to think that these public family quarrels could be a part of the reason the little girl is in pain. A very big reason.

If it leaks we'll report it, we have to. But talking to the media is not going to help the situation. What will help is walking up to Paris and asking, "How are you?"

Listen to what she says, respect her feelings. Remember, that regardless of how upset you might be, this person tried to kill herself and she doesn't need the internet judging her as well.

Paris' family needs only to listen, help validate her feelings and stop talking to the media.

It's a sad day when a little girl's suicide has more leaks than a major label record.

In any other country, if a paper/media person had written this about such a sad situation involving a child, there would be an outcry from the public, leaders, politicians, religious groups, etc. We have entered a new low in this country for something like this article to exist without any denouncement from people.

Here again just like when certain family sources made the same type of comments about Paris character when something serious took place last summer, we have more family sources again making comments that show Paris is a spoilt brat who wants attention. Rather than saying she realized there was help for solving her problems and reached out for help, they claim she is into drama. What a disgrace!!! Reminds me of the tone of Gladys Knight, the women on that tv show, Michel's siblings, & Katherine's lawyer during granny napping.

Thanks for this comment. I made a few suicide attempts starting at 12 or 13, again at 15, again at 16, and had the urge to die, depression, etc for decades. All I can explain about how I felt was that I was in too much pain emotionally, I was confused, I needed help and love but didn't know who to trust, where to go, and I was feeling I could not cope. I was overwhelmed emotionally. Then I would pull myself out of the funk and something would happen to trigger it again. People told me you're too sensitive. But how do you rewire yourself so things don't hurt you when they do? It was a long time before I stopped wanting to die--at first I wanted to die a lot, then less so, then only when things got beyond my ability to handle, and finally, now I seem to be ok and enjoying the fact--yeah--I am alive!!! My first and second attempt no one did anything, not even talk to me about it! The 3rd attempt I was taken to the hospital and put on the 72 hr. watch, in a locked ward with really crazy people, and then I started seeing a shrink. She was from Europe and had a thick accent. She told me--"Life can be a slaughterhouse, but you have to be able to take it." WOW. I was in therapy most of my life off and on after that. I appreciate the good therapists who helped me--some really caring people. I hope Paris finds a good one like that. She needs someone to talk to, someone who will listen to her, let her express her feelings, her thoughts.

Sorry to bore you with my personal stuff. It's just I relate so much to this situation--I remember my brother visiting me at the hospital--"why did you do it?" They never understood why.

Those 3 poor things lost their father in a very young age, they need parental guidance and care and it seems they aren't receiving any of it. If it's true Prince wants to emancipate, it could be the best thing it could happen to the 3 of them if Diana Ross doesn't want to step in. I hope what the Jacksons are doing right now open you the eyes defenders.

I am not saying she should 'swoop in and claim the kids,' just that it would be helpfu IMOl if she would go to the hospital and visit with Paris or maybe after she leaves the hospital spend some time together. Diana went to visit all the kids in Calabasas after grannygate. She is named in MJ's will as the next in line to be Guardian if KJ is not able. She is involved in the Probate and has spoken to the judge. I believe she gave her agreement to the co-Guardianship and was consulted about it. She is an important player in this IMO b/c of the will. The fact that she is 70 means what? Katherinbe is 83 and there apparently was no objection to her being a Guardian so why would anyone make objections about Diana Ross b/c she is 70?

Actually I checked and she is 69--born March 26, 1944.

Prince Michael Jackson has visited his estranged sister Paris at the Los Angeles area hospital where the teenager is recuperating after her attempted suicide, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The eldest child of pop icon Michael Jackson spent time with Paris, 15, on Thursday, a Jackson family source revealed.

The siblings, who had once been “thick as thieves, had a major falling out when Paris began to spend time with their biological mother, Debbie Rowe. Prince disagreed with Paris’ decision to do so and wanted nothing to do with Debbie, which Paris couldn’t understand,” an insider told Radar.

“Paris kept pushing Prince and they drifted apart. As Paris began to spend more time with Debbie, Prince was hanging out with his girlfriend.

“However, all of that changed after Paris’ suicide attempt. Prince stepped up, as he always does and told Paris how much he loves her in a phone call and vowed to help her in the aftermath of the suicide attempt. He visited her on Thursday.”

Paris, said to “emotionally distraught” at the thought of having to testify in her father’s wrongful death suit, slashed her wrist early Wednesday morning and was rushed to the hospital.

Jackson family sources previously told Radar the 15-year-old, who has been battling depression, felt the strained relationship with Prince had weighed on her.

“Paris feels like her old life is slipping away,” the source said.

However, no matter “what Michael Jackson’s children face, they will always stick together. It is how their father raised them, and it’s what he would have wanted. Nothing or no one can break that bond, no matter who may try to do so,” the family source added.

"We wish her the very best as she works through this difficult time," Christen adds. "She knows that she has millions of fans out there that love her deeply and only want happiness for her."

Paris' acting debut in the half-animated underwater adventure was confirmed in late 2011 -- but at least one member of the Jackson family objected. Paris' most famous aunt, Janet Jackson, was "furious" about the role, sources told Us last July. "She feels it goes against Michael's wishes to keep his kids out of the the limelight until age 18," an insider said. "Janet thinks Paris should enjoy being a kid and possibly go to college."

I am glad Prince is there for his sister. They need each other and Blanket too. Michael would want that. I don't know why I read articles in people or us magazine. Some of the comments about Paris and Michael are just horrible. People can be so cruel and ignorant.

I love Paris with all of my heart and I just want her to be well and happy. Upon hearing the news of her current crisis I was gravely affected. This is absolutely unbelievable to me. That man killed another human being through his gross negligence and we are to give a flying flip what he has to say!!!!!?????

And by releasing this statement, the media validates him. I find this to be vulgar, ugly and distasteful!

Tito needs to understand it is not about them. it is not about them coping well. This is about PARIS!!! When will they get this into their heads? They need to focus on Paris, and forget about their coping skills. You see this is the problem--they are continuing the same way as they always do, so thank goodness officials are now involved.

This is also happening here in Brazil. I'm so sad and shocked! Some fans here has made horrible comments about Paris. Something like: "I always said she would be the new Lindsey Lohan ..." :no: Some fans have shown their true faces. Are judging without knowing what is really happening. Are doing with Paris the same as they (press/world) did with Michael. Very sad. :cry:




P.S. I just see a picture of Paris in the hospital. :blink: The tabloids will love. :( Probably someone from the family released on the internet. :perrin:

Yes I am sick of them, especially after the family members all made the same speech about respecting their privacy. How come they do not see all the family sources splashed all over the news?

Today I was wondering what would the difference be if after granny gate, the judge had taken away the permanent guardianship and had the kids live with new guardians. Maybe granny gate was a wake up call for the court, and it did not see it. I remember wondering how after the judge heard all the contradictions from Katherine about what happened to her, from her lawyer who claimed something else, from Janet's message that Prince shared with us, from the cries for help from Paris' tweets, he was able to merely say Katherine left her post due to the actions of OTHERS and left it at that. Isn't Katherine a grown up who knows what is right and wrong? Well I hope with this 2nd Wake Up Call, something better is done to safeguard these children's mental health & well being.

The police squeal, the medical staff, teachers, clerks in stores, service providers, and every person on the planet get their phones ready, tape or photo you, and send it off into cyberspace or to the media for cash. The song Privacy comes to mind & Leave Me Alone.

Already spread everywhere here in Brazil. *big sigh* The tabloids will love. :( Is it difficult to Jackson family keep the privacy at this time? It seems that it is quite impossible.
