The celebrity that IMO has been forced on her over the past 4 years has made her therapy that much harder. So a good facility rejected her due to the paps being all over her wherever she goes and the inadequate laws to prevent their hounding a minor. Another thing about therapy, group therapy is usally a great tool, but due to her celebrity and the confidentiality issue can she be in a group therapy situation? Her celebrity has harmed her in so many ways. Putting her on Oprah when she was 12, and on GMA, etc--big mistake IMO.

^^If you put her in group therapy the other teens will have her information all over the place. I was in someone's house and they had this Wendy woman on. She was talking about some actress who walked out of a clinic, and Wendy said if she was in the session she would have her phone out to record. I guess that is why Michael kept his business so private and stayed home when he was in pain.

Paris Jackson is allegedly set to enroll in a boarding school in Utah for troubled teens because her mother Debbie Rowe and grandmother Katherine Jackson want to make sure she overcomes her depression following her recent suicide attempt.

The 15-year-old aspiring actress, who is still being treated in hospital in Los Angeles after recently attempting suicide, will reportedly be sent to the prestigious Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah, for struggling children, in a bid to learn to cope with her depression, which stems from her father Michael Jackson's death in 2009.

A source told the Sun on Sunday newspaper that Paris' grandmother Katherine Jackson and mother Debbie Rowe want to ensure she makes a full recovery.

The insider added: ''As far as Paris is concerned she is fine and is ready to go home, but the doctors and her family are not taking any chances. She tried to end her own life and it doesn't get more serious than that.

''She was in a terrible state and her family know it would not take much to tip her over the edge again.
''They are terrified she will have a major relapse if she has access to Twitter and the internet again -- especially with all the shocking information that is coming out in the AEG wrongful death court case.

''Debbie and Katherine have looked into things and they have decided the best place for her is the Diamond Ranch Academy. It is a secluded treatment centre for 12 to 18-years-olds that specialises in depression and grief management.

''While she's there she can be around kids going through similar problems and concentrate on getting well again, without pressures from the outside world and all the negativity on the Internet. The only stumbling block is the security situation.

''They know there will be a lot of attention on Paris while she's in residence and there's a real danger obsessive fans might try to break in.''

^^I thought that idea was already dead--that Paris was going to Utah? Why is that tabloid writing discarded news? I thought the latest "family source" news was that Utah was out due to logistics & family not being able to visit the locale regularly due to the distance, and that they had their eyes on something closer to home.

Boarding school? :bugeyed I really hope this is not true. :no: I do not know if this is good or bad for Paris. Poor girl :( ... so young and already going through so much. May God continue looking at Paris. :pray: :heart: *prayers :angel:*

If any of this is true this Utah boarding school move really concerns me especially after Jermaine’s comment about Paris needing disciple. All the tabloid reports about how Katherine can’t control Paris makes me think they are meaning to punish her by locking her up in a faraway boarding school with no outside contact.

There is a private school right by "Neverland" that Paris could attend and then drive across the street and live at "Neverland."

Paris is not out of control. When she recorded her video about applying makeup, she specifically mentioned how many times she watched "Tangled." Then we know she has been cutting, because of the marks on her arm. This would be about control, which she doesn't believe she has any living in Katherine's household.

If we are looking at a boarding school situation, then what I have suggested may be a good idea. Even Helen Keller had her Annie Sullivan, so why not for Paris. Find her an Annie Sullivan and send her to the private school by "Neverland," and let Paris live at "Neverland." Then since she will live there till death do you part, the Jackson's can't attempt to turn it into a tourist attraction.

Maybe Paris and Debbie Rowe can become business partners and they can breed horses at "Neverland." That way the land will continue to have the tax code of the Williamson Act!

Holy crap - She CANNOT go to this "school". Please, please, please research it more carefully and tweet Debbie and 3T and Margaret Lodise and anyone who will listen. This place is a total farce - a slickly advertised prison camp.

Diamond Ranch Academy requires parents to sign a contract that legally grants 51% of their parental custody of their child to DRA, allowing them to make decisions for the child such as medical needs, discipline and the right to dictate what other programs they may be admitted to as well as the right to transport them across state lines and even over the international border. They require parents to agree to give up their rights to personally protect or even speak to their child, for at least 10 weeks and quite possibly for the entirety of their child’s stay in the program.

Although DRA’s marketing materials state that they are offering a “treatment” plan, their contract clearly indicates that the children are in no way receiving treatment for any diagnosable mental illness or disease, substance abuse, or emotional issues.

I was in survival mode. I would do anything to get out. I learned how to play the game, I learned how the program worked. I learned what the staff wanted to hear. … (After leaving DRA) I quickly slipped back into the old me, but even worse.

"They had a punishment in which you were outside from 6:15 am to 8:15 pm, doing manual labor, pulling a heavy cart around for miles, in total silence, and permission had to be asked to do anything. Literally, anything. You were in line of sight of a staff twenty-four seven. One kid said something mildly disrespectful, and ended up out there for a week."

The students reported that Diamond Ranch Academy staff considers it “manipulation” for a student to tell their parents the truth about how they are being treated in the program, whether they want to come home, and if they have anything negative to say about the ranch. Manipulation is punished by a six point citation, which can delay the student from advancing for the week, and can also result in being sent back outside to the homeless section.

I was stripped of all my possessions except for my shoes and coat. I was told to remove my clothes. My clothes were then searched and I was made to turn around many times, naked, to make sure I had nothing on me.

Students reported that DRA “coaches” parents to not believe their children. This has been widely regarded as brainwashing, and is discussed in DRA’s parent seminars.

This place is sick. We cannot let her go here!!!!!

The best thing is to wait until you hear where she is, because we cannot do anything to influence where this child will go or not. The media is simply pulling places from "sources" heads to keep the story going.

That place sounds disgusting!! That is NOT a place she needs. It would be like she's being punished for having depression if she went there. Depression is nothing to be punished over, it is an illness (hell, I've battled it for years). She needs love and care and understanding, and the right therapy, and NOT to be treated like a criminal!

I'm wondering if this is the place that Marie Osmond sent her son to, Michael Blosil and then after he was released, he jumped out of a window to his death. Besides, before all the different media organizations started printing about this place, it had already come out that this place didn't want Paris Jackson attending on account of privacy issues and from the looks of things, maybe they don't want their place exposed!

This is still the last place I heard that Paris might be going. I guess the family doesn't want to take the time to find her a decent place, so Debbie is doing all the research and has found a place instate and close enough for her brothers to visit.
But it looks as if Paris' mom Debbie Rowe, who has been busy researching facilities, may have found a place.

"It is in-state," notes the source. "But no specific date has been set for the move."

Meanwhile, Rowe continues to visit her daughter at the hospital every day.

"Debbie is spending the most time with her," the source says.

There is so much contradiction in these tabloid articles and all say something different. Why would we believe one over the other? They did the same to Michael. lies and half truths. We all know they are not in the business of truth. they out right lie and make up stories for hits for $$$$$. We really don't know where paris is going.

I was reading some of the comments to this story about Paris Jackson and the "Diamond Ranch Academy," and I'd say somebody is up in arms about the bad reports about the place. I am looking at it as free publicity for the place, but if the naysayer's about this place down in Hurricane, Utah have their say, parent's will think twice about sending their children there. It's kind of like "Trip Advisor" when looking for a place to stay, at a destination you've never visited before. Or buyer beware.

These boot camps sound scary. And this place that Marie Osmond sent her son to, Michael Blosil, didn't do him any good. He still committed suicide. It's like the Osmond family kept it in the family, since Donny Osmond is a part of "Diamond Ranch Academy." I wouldn't recommend sending my child there!

I believe Paris is already being cared for at a referral location approved by the doctors treating her at UCLA.

Jermaine's comment 'she needs DISCIPLINE" now looks like he is in the know about the kind of 'school' they have in mind. I agree this would be the worst idea imaginable. Jodge Beckloff and Lodise need to remove guardianship from the Jacksons and send Paris to Diana Ross IMO. The fact that Debbie thinks this is a good idea worries me. I have read about other troubled teens whose parents sent them to these boot camps and they were convinced by the staff that their kids would be taken care of, and they were not. IMO Paris needs a very supportive therapeutic community that focus on developing creativity--not stifling it with rules. The Jacksons are going from one extreme to the other--from no supervision (KJ in her 'wing' of the house and TJ 4 hours away) to raising the DISCIPLINE banner. What a mess. I am worried.
