Completely inexplicable verdict. I am stunned that they answered 'yes' to question 1, but 'no' to question 2. Utterly incomprehensible.
 
I am not surprised. They hired Murray but they didn't know about the propofol. He didn't know what he was doing with that. They didn't hire him to give Michael propofol.
 
No free pass for Murray - Murray was hired to provide general medical needs, he was competent to carry out that work, not a specialist treatment of anaesthesia.
 
It would have made more sense for them to answer Question Nr 1 with "YES" but saying "YES" to Question Nr 2 does not make sense to me. They basically declared Murray a competent doctor. The guy who is in jail for his negligence.

not surprised one bit. we knew question 2 & 3 were going to be problems for the plaintiffs
 
I dont understand how they can see Murray was a fit and competent doctor.

I guess they see he was hired for the generic medical care...

So your celebrating that the man who killed Michael has just been given a free pass and that Michael's grieving mother and children have lost their case against the people who they believed were partly responsible and bemoaning Randy Jackson who was not a plaintiff in the first place.
 
It was basically the wording of question #2. Dr Murray was hired NOT to give him propfol each night, but to give MJ standard medical care. And that he WAS well qualified to do (and should have).

End of story...

Murray's competence is decided about the work he was hired - general care- and by the time he was hired. They cannot use hindsight in their determination.
