Hi it's my first Thread..
Bad Tour began in 1987 few months of Bad album's...when we look to the set list, IJCSY an Bad are diffrent from " Victory Tour " ..from michael song's.

At 1988 in the set list there are Smooth Criminal and Man In the Mirror and The way you make me feel... Do you Think that michael was wrong when he began the Bad Tour At 1987 and not 1988..

Wrong? No?

It was basically a dress rehearsal in major 2 big markets (Australia and Japan). The big draw was really going to be the US and Europe shows. This was just to get an early feel for the people and stuff.
Plus, the new album was SO new at the time, at the time, the older songs still were fine to play.

It's not uncommon for bands and artists to tweak setlists (some change it every show).

Michael had also visited again Japan in 88..I agree with you that Australia and Japan are 2 big markets, but I yhink that the " true " begining of Bad Tour was in 88

No, it was smart. First time totally out on his own, with new dancers, backup singers, some new musicians-everything was on him-and it was a one of a kind dress rehearsal while perfecting the show that started in 88. And if he had any doubts, what a confidence booster. I LOVE THE SHOWS IN JAPAN AND AUSTRALIA.

Is wish MJ would have performed as a solo artist at least once in Oklahoma.

Is it true that the last two or three shows were cancelled because Michael had healthy problems? If yes, what was arong with him??

At least we have two type of Bad shows now - with two type of set lists.

His last 5 shows in LA were rescheduled from November to a time slot available in Jan - some say because of health issues, but it was never publicised what that was... probably exhaustion.

i think everyone does :) but unlikely to happen anytime soon unfortunately.. i swear to not give up hope, i plan on watching this tour in high resolution before i leave this earth...

p.s i think it was a smart move giving japan & australia a taste of the victory tour.
