@Korgnex ok, but people from polish radio send a reply to one of polish fan that Sony Music Poland send them a copy of promo single "A Place With No Name" and that why i send a email to SMP and this polish radio station (http://lp3.polskieradio.pl) with question about this rumors.

This station its very popular in Poland.

This wouldn't be a single this early on. It has to be a huge hit. Look at HIStory, first single, Scream. Exception being Bad from memory they were all; "I'm Michael Jackson, and you better believe I'm back." We need a huge song. It's gotta be big. I really do believe this could happen.

If you read the reply that Dorian posted, you'll notice they just made this up. Sony has not sent any promo CDs.

Yes but Dorian have a reply from diffrent radio radio2funky(it's a english internet radio) but this polish radio station http://lp3.polskieradio.pl/ says they have a promo single from Sony Music Poland......

they were ''sent it'' meaning they didn't download a leaked version of it, plus.. the audio quality is much higher! so it's a different source, if we can believe what the polish radio are saying then surely there's an announcement coming soon. i don't think it happened by ''chance'' that several countries decided to download and play it in the same 3 days.

The audio quality isn't any different. For better audio quality I sent you a PM.

Sony Music do not send out promo CDs to countries like Poland, Brazil or Argentinia when they haven't even supplied their major sales markets. The UK is their European #1 priority. No sign of any single yet.

You are right with what you say. But, as a matter of fact, the mail I got is from a radio in UK.

extract from the message ''Hi,It was just sent to us'' so they didn't download it, i'm confused as much as you but they didn't say it was illegal. they didn't confirm anything, so.

@Dorian: Yeah, I mixed up the two radio stations. And that UK radio station isn't claiming to have a legitimate promo CD and what the manager says shows he has no clue and did not receive the song legally.

@Zakk: The radio stations do not always get things through the official channels. Whoever sent that to them, downloaded it for sure. Of course they would never say it was illegal. Think about it.

I asked them via e-mail if it is from a casual listener or from Sony Music. Still waiting for a reply.

firstly, before we come to any conclusions.. i would like to ask whoever received the message from the polish radio station.. to post a screenshot of the message in which it says ''white envelope, promo single from sony music poland''

They not a fool if They will haved a false CD they wouldn't say its from Sony....

What mean "especially in those countriees" its sound very racist :/.......

Like i said i send them a email and will still waiting for reply from Sony Music Poland and this radio station

You didn't understand me. I didn't claim they would never send out promo CDs in those countries at all. I said these countries would follow later AFTER (or simultaneously) the major markets were supplied with promo CDs.
There is NO racist undertone. "These countries" are known for piracy and bootlegs - as a matter of fact. That's what I meant, nothing else. I would never dare to downgrade the people in these countries.

I have to agree with Stella and Korgnex. It doesn't seem like official to me. No announcement, no heads up, no email and not aired at major stations in US and UK? Seems not official to me.

i asked radio 2 funky if they downloaded the leaked version or they received an official cd, they said they'll reply within ''24 hours''

listening to the snippet on the polish radio website though, it sounds very much the same quality as a cd version would.. which is why i'm curious

they'd be dumb to play a fan enhancement so compare this snippet audio quality to the original mp3 leak - http://lp3.polskieradio.pl/utwor/artykul13292,209.aspx

This sounds the same as the leaked version. Just some stereo spacing with some special plugins. I remember Birchey and I did the same with a HIStory Brunei enhancement.

i don't think they'd bother doing that and tell someone they received a promo single... but, we'll see..

I always thought it was good idea to put one of Michael's song on the radio in rotation just to see how people reacted to it. Whether this is something official or not I hope it is getting positive response to it. That people like it.

The station in the UK that played it is a tiny local one. It's not even a national one. They are the last people that would receive a promo single from Sony.

well the radio who played it in poland are apparently a huge station so i'm not giving up hope just yet.

They will have just got it from the internet. If it was being used as a promo single, or as the first single from the album, then many more major stations in more prominent markets would be playing it. Plus it would have been preceded by an announcement.

We know this album is coming, but just not quite yet.
