Re: News and discussion about new MJ album : Xscape, May 13, 2014.
That's all nice, but I don't know why we shouldn't say so if we do not like a song - or in this case a remix? Should I say I love it even if I don't just "not to kill the producers' love for MJ" (who probably do not even read this board)?
You'll get the demos, case solved.
Sheesh, some people suggest/pretend with their comments we have to like and appreciate everything brought on Xscape just because it's modern! Not the case, modern not always means good or better!
Bring it on STTR to move on!
You'll get the demos, case solved.
Correction: No one hate the song, People just don't like the new production....
The idea is that the new production doesn't fit with the lyrics at ALL....I mean MJ was riding a jeep in the desert not a spaceship to use synthetic sound LOOOOL
No, seriously..i am mad at them muting freeze backvocals..made the song lose lot of Harmony
You'll get the demos, case solved.
Who are they supposed to give the job to work on the songs? Eddie Cascio?
I have a question for all of you. Have you actually ever witnessed MJ album releases in the past? Because I have the impression that many people tend to forget that every single, maxi cassette, maxi CD were full of remixes approved by MJ.
Have you ever heard this official release:

I had the opportunity to experience what is liek to be a DJ and played this song to the people. They were unaware of this version of JAM, but when they heard it (back in the early 90s) they started dancing on the tables and got in trance.
There are many, many other remixes and alternative versions out there, officially released and approved by MJ. When Remember The Time was released there were around 12 different remixes.
In The Closet had at least 4-5 official different maxi CDs with remixes, one of which ended up as an official alternative video on music TV channels, all approved by Michael Jackson. And some of you are unhappy with what you've got on Xscape knowing that MJ isn't here any more to give his opinion. Liking a song is a state of mind and taking into account many parameters, not only love-at-first-sight effect.
