You know, when I first started coming here all of two months ago, I thought so differently of Michael. "He was a human being- not a sexual object damnit!"

Look what this place has done to me... what havoc hath this thread wrought? (I blame Daz & Treasure- they are terrible influences :hug:)

I know, I don't either. I was kidding. He is very handsome, attractive and yes, sexy... but I don't objectify him. Like everyone else here, I have a deeply profound respect for Michael that goes beyond what any words can convey. Besides, what I've come to learn is that there is nothing wrong with admiring and appreciating a man's sexiness. We're not dirty, we're not raunchy (well, I did post that one video, but that was it! I swear!) and we're not disrespectful by any means... we have fun in here. And I say there is nothing wrong with that :)

I feel the same way, I love MJ more than I can put into words and defend him when people are talking crap. I can't tell you how many times I've debated people online about his innocence, and it often leads to me being very angry and even shaking, but I do it because I have the facts and I love the guy. I can't help that he's so sexy :)

I got into an argument with a co-worker the other night. Actually, it wasn't even an argument. It was more, he asked if I thought Michael had ever touched kids (except he had no reservations using the "M" word) at which point it didn't take much for me to breakdown into tears. Thank god I only have a couple more weeks with him- then he's leaving.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! Did he back off after that? In person I've only fought with one of my Uncles about that, but he didn't ask me what I thought, he's convinced that he's right and won't listen. The worst thing about it is that he's hypocrite. He liked little girls in our family, he just doesn't realize that I know about it. I came very close to letting it slip but didn't for my Mother's sake.

Unfortunately some people think you're stupid or naive or blind if you don't agree with them about their opinion on this and most don't want to listen to what you have to say. From that point on if they bring it up with you to deliberately upset you they're definitely a prick! Glad this guy is leaving soon so you won't have to put up with him again. It's hard not being taken seriously on this, much harder for us women too, sometimes we still aren't taken seriously. It's an uphill battle to get the truth out there but one day we will :)

He kind of let it go, not expecting that my reaction was going to be what it was, but then the next night (Sunday night) he kept trying to apologize. Another co-worker overheard and asked what was going on so I explained it to her, at which point she backed me up and told him not to be talking smack about Michael. "You don't realize that he is like family to her, and you don't talk shit about someone's family." I just smiled and gave her a hug, lol. She seemed to say what I couldn't, and that did shut him up :)

I'm sorry you've had to keep that secret about your Uncle. That can't be easy to keep quiet about :(
