Seriously, where the hell were Chuck and Wade's parents?

That's the million dollar (or perphaps 1.26 billion dollar) question, isn't it? The parents are strangely absent from these stories which is very telling. It's as if they did not even exist back then - it was just MJ and these kids in some kind of vacuum. Wade in his lawsuit only superficially mentions his mother and there is no any blame put on her for anything. While if this had really happened he should have been really angry at her, because she facilitated the alleged abuse before MJ's companies could. But no. He seems to be on good terms with his mother, not blaming her for anything. Instead he is angry with people at MJ's companies for supposedly facilitating his abuse.

Same with James. When that other story from his claims was leaked a couple of months ago about MJ taking him out of school and taking him on tour to molest him. Every other comment was "and where were the parents?" And indeed. You cannot just take out an unrelated child from school and take him on tour without parental permission. But that element was strangely missing from James' story. It was like he did not even have parents. They clearly try to distance their parents from these situations, but if this goes to court they will not be able to do that any more. Questions will be asked and they will be put in a very uncomfortable position.

Really this has really got to be the most comical allegations to date concerning the 'wedding'.
As other posters have said its copy and paste and then add a bit of comedic farce and there you have it, it's like WR and Safechuck are literally trying every allegation they could possibly think of along with their attack dog lawyers to drag MJ through the dirt again and get the estate to settle.
But you know what fellas when you leave this earth the gates of heaven will be firmly locked.
You are not going where MJ is. I hope you can live with yourselves and what you are doing to Michaels children, family, friends and fans. There ain't no room in Heaven for the hopeless sinners like you two.
You should ASHAMED of yourselves. Get a job. This whole thing disgusts me to my core. Michael helped so many children and never harmed anyone. It's funny how said children grow up and suddenly recall that they were harmed such a coincidence when albums come out more lies come out. This is getting so old. These people have no conscience and are making a mockery of people who are genuine abuse victims. Where is Tmez when you need him ? I need someone to calm me down. I hate this world sometimes.

As for marriage issues. On the Glenda tapes - which were recorded around the same times the alleged abuses of Wade and James happened - Michael expressed his desire to get married, however he does not mention boys or even men, he mentions women. I think if this goes to court Glenda should be called as one of the witnesses and some of her tapes should be played to the court. Like:

M: Cuz I DON'T love those people! I want to be with someone...I want to know what a relationship is all about before I die, cant you understand that girl?... I never had.. I mean I've been with Tate.. I've been, well not with.. I been with Tate..I thought I was with Diana.. it was just in my own mind..

G: You were a little boy..

M: I know, I have never had a real relationship, my brothers have been married... My brothers have had girlfriends I really haven't had that....

G: How long did it take you to get over Diana?

M: Years...... A hell of a long time..I just .. wanna know what its like girl.... to have a real relationship with someone who doesn't want me for me.... that I dont, I dont' have to look over my shoulder all the time...

If this goes to court there's no doubt that the judge is a biased Michael Jackson hater. There is no other way I can see this ending up in court. Cause any judge with common sense will throw this out

Like others I wondered why his family never saw the ring or even the mocked papers and why didn't Michael marry any of the other children? Why was Chuck all so special? I've got a question for those who have a lot of knowledge on the legal filings of this case. Respect, Ivy, etc. I'm sorry, but I haven't been following all the legal filings, etc. as of late.

I thought that these claims were sealed. Why is all this becoming public? Why didn't the judge order them sealed? Michael's three young children are out there, and one of them tried to kill herself not that long ago because she loves her Dad so much.

I don't understand how this is out there like this now. His kids are going to suffer tremendously because of this. So much for protecting the kids.

Apparently first Safechuck hearing is September 4th. Two civil demurrers October 1st. Discovery issues October 28th.

don't forget decisions generally come later in a few months or so.

Anyone notice the way the first radar article was presented-- listing all the sex claims and not presenting any legal arguments from the other side about why they could not say Yes. This shows me how reporting about this case is going to be--quite sensationalized and one sided. We will have to gather as much court documents as possible so we have the information from both sides. I would like to hear how both men answer the questions from opposing attorney when the time comes.

Michael "harmed" them but they had no problem on continuing to spend time with or praising him on multiple occasions even after the alleged abuses occurred, defending him in a court from the same claims they are accusing him now. They had no problem on using their "abuser's" home get married, filming videos, attending his funeral and doing tributes after he passed. That might be JS's undoing. I confess that I did actually laugh...the list is ridiculous, and I suspect that many people might have the same reaction. When you get to allegations around the #68 mark, you start to think that the only thing he hasn't mentioned was that they were playing Twister at the time. ....The list reminds me of a childhood poem....'Matilda told such awful lies it made one gasp and stretch ones eyes'. (Hilaire Belloc). She came to a very nasty end, and so should these two.

I have different feelings about this. Part of me wants it to go to court so these allegations can be proven as bullshit like they were in 2005 and we will have evidence to back up Michael's innocence.

The other part of me doesn't want it to go to court because I don't want Michael's name dragged through the mud- though that's already happening anyway

According to the documents, the alleged sex abuse took place after Safechuck appeared in a 1987 Pepsi commercial with the "Beat It" singer when he was a minor.

"[Jackson] engaged in a calculated course of conduct to lure both [Safechuck] and his parents into a false sense of security and normalcy that was far from reality," read the documents.
