Michael Jackson BAD TOUR HD Videos

This isn't HD, pmsl. Check out MITM Moonwalker & APOM BAD 25 and you will see what we crave.

Like Zakk said those are not even close to HD. This is:

It looks even better on Blu-Ray itself.

This also, looks even better on Blu-Ray without the logo..

I have Moonwalker in 1080, I've seen APOM BAD 25. Have you ever seen the reel footage? Apparently it's amazing.

If only man, if only...

John McClain seems to be the guy mostly interested in Michael's art, he was the guy who went through all the song's.. so i assume he went through all the negs also? no one should request certain shows.. even something like This Is It would be epic..

Imagine that!

Please God, let there be a full pro shot version of this show!
There is. Every concert from Michael's solo tours was shot for the jumbotrons and it was recorded on tape. So they should have every concert from Bad Tour but some of them may have been lost during the years.

Patrick Kelley transferred all BAD Tour footage into Michael's archive at the conclusion of the Tour, same with the footage directed by Will Pecchi in 1987. This includes film negatives & betacam masters (Concerts, On the road, Backstage, Rehearsals)

Just a thought - a scarry one...

Do you think it might be possible that Michael had the tapes to his tours but it somehow got "lost" during the police raid of Neverland??

Why doesn't the estate release them? If I had the money, I'd buy the Estate, and I'd release 'em!

I don't think Michael would keep the tapes in his house. Maybe some concerts that he wanted to own like the Wembley concert that was released but I don't think it would be the original tape in that case either. They might copy the original U-matic tape to VHS and give it to Michael. Like the Wembley they said was sourced from Michael's personal VHS copy. I'm sure the original tapes were storaged in some warehouses or something like that. :)

As much as I adore this footage, I hate the Spike Lee edit. Perhaps he was limited as to what unseen footage he had?

Maybe, but there are two full Wembley shows that were shot on 16/35mm! you're probably right but he had access to the entire archive of the BAD era so maybe he paved the way for the estate to categorize the shows etc.? i think it's wonderful though to be fair, sorta like This Is It - BAD Tour rendition.. haha

Good way of looking at it, but surely he could have edited the footage to sync with the vocals. I do hope a Bad tour film is released at some point. Perhaps a theatre release for the 30th Anniversary?
