Spike Lee announces Off The Wall Documentary - Estate Announcement Page 66

Don't understand why they wouldn't release the Triumph tour :0(

It's complicated. Very complicated. It's been discussed in length 10-20 pages back. You can check it out. But the summary is that we can't possibly know if the Estate have any show in full in releasable audio and video quality and if they do, if they have all the legal rights to release it as there are currently lawsuits against Michael Jackson's Estate involving Randy Jackson and Quincy Jones. The point is we know nothing and we can only guess.

Who would you say had the 2nd best super bowl show?

Also, you can test out the stream now. Just click the Live TV to see if everything is good to go.
Hi-I've been trying for the last hour and a half!!! What am I doing wrong?
I'm signed into showtime.com (sho.com) because I want to see it on the PC, not the phone. I saw the commercial. Then I see Showtime Online, and Showtime Anytime and available now-I click on to watch and I get 404. Page not found.

HELP!!

I clicked live tv and I have a black screen. At the very bottom it says ON NOW-Imitation Game-nothing is showing.

Is the live streaming part not working, or anything? Try playing an episode of a show.

Maybe your browser doesn't have something needed to play? Try a different browser (Which one are you using?)

Sometimes I can't seem to get things working in Chrome, but it will work in Safari.

OK-I'm house sitting, so I think they also have Internet Explorer. I'll try that too. I can see other stuff-just not what's playing now.

I can't believe there is no vinyl release for OTW. Vinyl is making a comeback!

Typically if a player needs a java update or something like that, a pop up asks to.
I dunno. Its working for me in Chrome on my Mac (and obviously on my iphone).

Worst case scenario, you can watch on your phone?

Probably didn't see the need for it, as you can just get whatever that last vinyl reissue there was. Most people wouldn't get that vinyl with the doc i guess.

Oh man, I'm sorry-I'm getting so upset. It looks like I have to install Adobe Flash Player. And I'm not in my own house.
I'll run go try their other computer.

I am so excited to see this documentary! I think it is going to be great.

And I am not surprised by the review in the Guardian. There is something about what Michael represented that scares certain people. Ah well, their loss.

I don't think they would mind if you install Flash Player (i mean, if they let you use their computer, so..) It's kind of standard.
It's not like you're installing Kazaa.

Atlas-I just got it on this other computer-of course, it's already started-and I'm watching it on the phone too-or trying-it's buffering horribly.

Spoiler alert-I glanced down and this "baby picture of Michael" is really Katherine holding Taj. I guess they fooled poor Spike.

Thank you for your help Atlas=I'm going to go calm down and watch the repeat in an hour.

Not that I can tell. It plays ok for a bit and then pauses, plays pauses. At least I get to see part of it.

Short review: I loved it!

Also, anyone watching on a phone or some crappy stream, please be sure to watch an HD copy later on.

While a lot of the concert footage isn't HD per-say, it's clean and crispy enough that it stands out soooo well on the big screen (big screen being my TV).

I need to process my thoughts for what I just took in :D

Just finished watching the documentary, awesome.

Watched it from my phone, with only one interruption, but it was fast paced and loved the concert footage.

From what I could get I thought it was great. I'll get it when it's released and then I can watch it properly.

Did y'all see the quality of the music videos?! I LOVED this documentary! Much better than Bad 25 and I LOVED that one too haha! The performances were sooo amazing!

There's something about seeing a performer sweat it out on stage for long stretches at a time that makes you appreciate a live performer more.

I just watched it. Not so impressed. Live footage was great but it's not more than 15-20 minutes or so (and not everything previously unseen). The rest is bla bla bla (although I was interested to hear what Tom Bahler had to say to be honest)

They didn't really have a lot to work with, though.
This was before MJ filmed everything in his life.

The doc is now available to stream on-demand in the app/website in the reality/docs section.

I liked it a lot! These kind of films makes me admire Michael even more than I already did. I hope they do a more documentaries, this was amazing!

Off The Wall meant the world to me as a kid, just as I'm sure kids of other generations have their seminal moments in life, it gave me an outlook on life that provided hope and wanted to walk a narrow path, the spirit behind that album along w/the guidance of loved ones really had a huge impact, not just because of hte music, but because of THE MESSAGE

the documentary is exactly what I expected

it was good in providing that glimpse

but there's one more thing the world needs out of this equation, the one missing element, the one thing that's been kept away from us the entire time, and that's going to be the thing that will provide permanence to the intent of his musical message

Loved the documentary, but need to see it in better quality.
