There's a new interview with Shana on Yahoo. Here's an excerpt:

He cared much less about his skin color than everyone else

It’s well documented that Jackson’s complexion changed over the years due to the skin disorder vitiligo, but some speculated that he also bleached his skin to lighten his complexion. Mangatal says that Jackson never wanted to change his race.

“He had gone through the music industry since he was a child, and he experienced so much racism and, almost to prove a point — this is my theory — that that’s why he didn’t mind that his skin was changing, because it made him colorless, not raceless,” she says. “Because he was always extremely proud of being a black man. That was always very important to him, and it was very important that people knew that. But being black and having a different skin color were two different things for him. Those had nothing to do with each other, and I think that is where the public gets that mixed up. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to be black, it’s just that he wanted to be universal. He didn’t believe in color.”

When it came to his plastic surgeries, Mangatal theorizes that Jackson was more interested in the pain medication that came along with the surgeries.

She is claiming that Michael didn't mind having Vitiligo because it made him colourless and universal. The nerve of this woman. Did she miss Michael breaking down into tears when Oprah asked him about it, saying "I have a skin disorder that destroys the pigmentation of my skin. It's something that I cannot help. But when people make up stories that I don't wanna be who I am it hurts me. It's a problem for me. We're trying to control it. And using make-up evens it out because it makes blotches on my skin and I have to even out my skin." How can anyone with even an ounce of empathy suggest that Michael liked having a skin disorder? And no Shana, Michael wasn't "colourless". He had disfiguring dark patches all over his body. He had to apply thick layers of make-up in order to look "normal".

We already discussed her pain medication comment but it just amazes me how cold-hearted she is and how she has some people fooled that she is actually "defending" Michael.

The nerve of that nobody! She claims to love him but she doesn't show an ounce of compassion towards Michael, imagine if she hated him.

I bet she's still mad her sentiments towards him weren't reciprocate. I hate when men flirt with you giving false signals (is it the right term?) but they aren't interest in you anyways but holding that grudge over 20 years is pathetic and unhealthy.

I read this article earlier and I think people should really pay attention to it. I don't know who this Fripo Carr is other than he was a journalist who tried to get Shana to prove her story before. He's quoting her conversation and she sounds damn crazy. It's been few years since and she still failed to provide any proof that she was at least someone in Michael's circles other than being his manager's secretary and an extra on Ghosts.

She definitely knows how to play the Hollywood game, she may not have many working credits in the industry, but she is skilled at moving through celebrity circles. Being beautiful didn't exactly hurt her cause either lol. The more tidbits of this book I come across, the more it sounds like she's saying "Michael and I would have rode off into the sunset together and lived happily ever after had it not been for his whole global pop icon thing. And world tours. And two marriages. And three children. And dire legal troubles that sent him into a tailspin.... And him never publicly acknowledging me as his lover. But other than those minor details we were totally an item."

Yes, there's no denying she knows how get herself into some celebrity circles. It was always through her job or mutual friends but she never proved she was anyone significant in those professional circles that probably count hundreds of people. She was in Sandy's circle and therefore she knew Michael but were they actually friends?

Other than MJ, she brags about her relationships with soap opera actors and B. Howard. Her biggest part was to be an extra on Family Matters which is bigger than her part in Ghosts because she actually had a line there. Maybe she knows how to play the Hollywood game but she isn't really good at it.

The same Joe Jackson supported nonsense like Omer was MJ's son and things like that. I noticed some members of the Jackson family - that includes Joe - support any story that links MJ to any woman. I think they want to use it as a proof of his heterosexuality. Although I wonder if it is even Joe himself who writes his Twitter messages.

I don't believe its ever been him.....he's too inarticulate and not savvy enough to use twitter etc. Plus he is unwell. Its one of his underlings.

This circus in Michael's world is nothing new. A whole lotta "insider" info being spilled, all in the name of benefitting Michael of course, with a gratuitous Jackson chiming in to "confirm" something/ offer support about something they knew NOTHING about to begin with.

Still waiting for this book to fall off the back of a truck lol. I want to read it all to get a full picture of what she was trying to accomplish with her story, but I'm not really trying to invest in the Shana machine lol. #sorryshana

Look at what she is doing on the second page! MJ supposedly told her about some card with a naked woman and once again Shana unnecessarily extrapolates that to MJs supposed behaviour with children. Shana was 26 year old at the time not a child! So the bringing of children into it is totally unnecessary and - once again - a totally deliberate insinuation and hook that tabloids can pick up and use against MJ.

I don't see how any self-respecting MJ fan can still support this vile, shady, lying, sociopathic witch.

The way Joe's twitter message is worded, I can believe it comes from himself, or he has talked about MJ image in tabloids to his publicist who posts under his twitter account.

On top of that in the above pages her story is like that of a star-struck fan's nothing else. Supposedly they have just spent some nights together, but you wouldn't know that from the interactions described between them in the above two pages. Those interactions do not show any more affection, closeness, intimacy or anything than MJ would have with ANY fan.

Even if we believed everything Shana claims (of course, I don't - she is a pathological liar - I just say this for arguments sake), this is what this so called 20yo relationship looked like:

1. Shana decided as a star struck teenage fan in the 80s to travel to LA and marry Michael Jackson.
2. She travels to LA seeks out places and starts working for people who can bring her near MJ.
3. MJ meets her a couple of times, flirts with her in the office, but that's it on his part.
4. Shana meanwhile is plotting with co-workers and others to marry MJ.
5. MJ marries another woman. Supposedly calls Shana afterwards to apologize for it. (Why exactly when he didn't have a relationship with Shana?)
6. During his marriage he supposedly keeps calling Shana with remorse that he married LMP instead of her.
7. MJ divorces LMP. Now would be free to marry Shana, but he still doesn't touch her with a ten foot pole. Instead he keeps going back together with Lisa on and off for several years.
8. When MJ decides to have kids he still doesn't care to pick this big love of his life, Shana Mangatal, instead he picks a nurse from his doctor's office.
9. Shana keeps complaining about how every time she was trying to be near MJ he ran the other direction, how she could never get through to him. Sure sign of his undying love for her.
10. Finally MJ throws her stalking ass a bone and invites her to be an extra in Ghosts. Supposedly because white directors never cast beautiful black women in movies and Shana is the one to change that tendency. Obviously Ola, Tatiana, Iman or Naomi are nowhere near to her beauty. Her otherwordly beauty impresses MJ so much that he gives her a nearly 5 seconds part in Ghosts as one of the townspeople. Obvious lead role and the highlight of Shana's life, career and her supposed 20yo romance with Michael Jackson. Supposedly during the shooting of Ghosts the virginal "never even kissed before" 26yo Shana has sex with MJ for the first time and they do that a couple of times during the shooting and that's it.
11. Then they never see each other again for many years. This doesn't stop Shana though from refusing to give a clear answer to whether she is Blanket's mother. (At other times she seems to love and welcome speculations that she might be Melissa or "S" of the Glenda tapes/stories, the Emily mentioned by Frank Cascio - just any woman who has been associated with Michael. She intends to keep all these options open just in case she can insert herself into any of these stories.)
12. In 2003 they meet again and MJ doesn't remember who this woman is. He has to be reminded. Even so his first association of her isn't that he took this girl's virginity, but that she was "House's stuff". Sure that 20yo romance must have been so memorable to him that 15 years into it MJ didn't even remember who she was and even after he was reminded he remembered her as the bootycall of another man.
13. She hangs out with other fans outside of Staples Center during the TII rehearsals in 2009 like any other fan.

So this is what constitutes of being Michael Jackson's alleged secret girlfriend of 20 years in Shana's mind...

I understand what you meant, I just thought it was funny and I felt kinda guilty for laughing lol :cheeky:.

I feel the same about Joanna as I do Shana; I can't say that nothing romantic ever happened between her and Michael (same with Shana). But I think Michael may have either a) flirted heavily and pulled the plug before things got too serious, or b) these women tell a super exaggerated, maybe partially fabricated story about friendly interactions with Michael that they blew way outta proportion, or lastly c) a combination of a and b. The mud wrestling is a funny thought tho lol :lol:.

I feel that any of these women, Shana, Joanna, etc., all really did care deeply for Michael in their own ways. But even if Michael himself indulged the attraction, it's unfair to him to just fill in the blanks with their own fantasies in spots where Michael may not have felt as strongly for them in return. I also don't think it's fair to announce a romantic relationship to the world when he's not here to confirm or deny what is real and what's not.

I was looking through Shana's instagram to get a feel for the type of woman she is. Just about all of her pictures have something to do with fame and the Hollywood lifestyle. I run the risk of over-analyzing simple pictures but I do see a pattern. She seems to value fame and celebrity as commodities. She's done some extra work in movies and television throughout the years, which is honest work of course. But did/does she want to be a full-on actress? Or is this, like her job working for Sandy Gallin, a convenient way to immerse herself in the world of celebrity without having to work for the fame herself? There's nothing wrong with posting pictures of yourself with celebrities that you happen to be working with or that you might bump into, but why are those pictures taking up 98% of your instagram? What is it that she really values, and did Michael maybe pick up on this? Was one of her aims to be famous for being connected to famous people, better yet, the most famous man in the world? I'm just speculating here, I don't know her and I know little about her personality. I could (we all could) be totally wrong about her. But trends in behavior hint at what a person truly values. And what she seems to value are things that, given Michael's level of fame, might have made him nervous about being seriously involved with her. Again none of those are hard facts, I'm just thinking out loud...

So because Ghosts was the highlight of Shana's life she also projects that onto MJ: it must have been for him too. Only rivalled by the birth of his kids. LOL. Can this woman get any more delusional?

The fact that she keeps going on about Ghosts shows that really is the closest she ever got to MJ (although not as close as she claims, LOL). If there truly had been a relationship it wouldn't be the set of a film that she would need to go on all the time as the big highlight in her supposed relationship with MJ.
