1. Rampage
2. Be Me 4 A Day
3. The Pain
4. Get Your Weight Off Of Me
5. Throwin' Your Life Away
6. Pressure
7. Get Around
8. Hot Fun In The Summertime

I always loved the photoshoot... Should be a cover!

That photoshoot is probably MJ’s most under appreciated. I’d love to see more from it.

WOW - this would be great - both track-listing and especially cover.

They could make it a 10-track album by adding We've Had Enough and a updated/finalized version of Price of Fame.

I agree, I don't know much about Be Me 4 A Day other than it was worked on with Gray Calix Days... That's why I put in Chicago 1945 as an alternative as the estate wanted to release it for Xscape. I think Get Around was done in the Invincible days? I put Man In Black as an alternative though as we have slightly more info on that one... As for the others they have been rumoured over the past few years... We've Had Enough would be great, but I can see this as being the last fully fledged album.. If their is one coming of course.. So why not hope for 100% unheard? (aside from MIB and TYLA in either incomplete form or very poor audio quality).

A third alternative for track 7 could be 'Lovely Way' (Produced by Mark Ronson)...

I Like the Tracklist and the Cover!

My Tracklist:

1) Get Your Weight Off Of Me
2) Throwin' Your Life Away ft. The Weeknd
3) Pressure
4) Shut Up and Dance or The Pain
5) The Loser (I Was the Loser re-worked)
6) D.I.E (Dance is Entertainment) or Chicago 1945 (Probably with another name)
7) You Are a Liar (I don't know if it was finished, but for sure this song would be amazing!)
8) Rampage

Bonus Track:

A MJ Legacy: Mashup with Snippets of unfinished Musics (You created a Monster, H2O, I'm still the King, Innocent Man)

Some information about songs that have been mentioned above:

‘You Are A Liar’ (also known as ‘You’re A Liar’) was not finished, and it was a song that Michael Jackson wrote, but he did not record (the song was meant for inclusion on the ‘Invincible’ album).

‘Rampage’ (a song musically very similar to ‘2000 Watts’) exists in a finished and releasable state (outtake from the ‘Invincible’ album).

‘Man In Black’ exists in a finished and releasable state.

‘D.I.E.’ (also known as ‘Dance Is Entertainment’) is a song that Michael Jackson wrote but he never entered the studio to record his vocals on it.

‘Pressure’ exists in a finished and releasable state (the song was a serious contender for the ‘Invincible’ album, but it failed to make the final track list of that album).

‘Chicago 1945’ exists in a finished and releasable state, the Estate wanted the song to be included on the ‘Xscape’ album (2014), but American songwriter Steve Porcaro (the man who wrote the song) refused to give his permission for the song’s inclusion on that album.

‘Can't Get Your Weight Off Of Me’ exists in a finished and releasable state, and some privileged fans who heard it they described it as musically very similar to the first three songs of the ‘Invincible’ album.

Sources?

To not use up too many Invincible outtakes, this is the tracklist I would hypothetically finalize:-

1. Rampage
2. Be Me 4 A Day
3. The Pain
4. Get Your Weight Off Of Me
5. Throwin' Your Life Away
6. Pressure
7. Hot Fun In The Summertime
8. Lovely Way
9. Rampage (Original Version)
10. Be Me 4 A Day (Original Version)
11. The Pain (Original Version)
12. Get Your Weight Off Of Me (Original Version)
13. Throwin' Your Life Away (Original Version)
14. Pressure (Original Version)
15. Lovely Way (Original Version)
16. Throwin' Your Life Away ft. The Weeknd

  • “You Are a Liar” was first cited in Michael’s 1993 deposition, and as such couldn’t have been written for Invincible. (Your claim seems to be sourced from the infamously unreliable Wikipedia page.) Nothing is known regarding its completion or the album for which it was originally designated.
  • “Rampage” was teased by Rodney Jerkins a couple times on Instagram, but interestingly, never once did we hear any extended vocal passages; at best, we’d get a couple microseconds of an unidentifiable vocalist, who sounded nothing like Michael (in my opinion). Its completion is unknown.
  • “Man in Black” may or may not exist in a finished state. Bryan Loren played the demo at a fan seminar, but (a) it stands to reason that he would play the full song if it exists, and (b) Loren has a storied history of making things up to fabricate his importance in Michael’s career. I wouldn’t bet that it exists beyond the chorus.
  • NOTHING is known about “D.I.E.” beyond the title. We don’t know what the title truly stands for, and we don’t know the state it exists in.
  • “Pressure” is, if I recall correctly, a Rodney Jerkins outtake. But, yet again, its completion is unknown.
And before you comb through my post history to find something I said 4-7 years ago that contradicts what I’m saying now — stances change with the presentation of new information. Ten years ago we all thought “Slave to the Rhythm” was recorded in 2003 with Jam and Lewis, and that “I Am a Loser” was from 1999. Things change.

Just stop making stuff up, mj_frenzy. The vault is already confusing enough as it is, and you’re only worsening the issue.

Personally I would bet that "You Are A Liar" is an early version of "Morphine" made during the Dangerous sessions, just like how "Jane Is A Groupie" sounds like an early version of "Give In To Me". But I'd have to admit that's just my opinion and there's really no way to know unless the song is either leaked or some credible source clears things up for us.

If I was king of the universe and could force the Estate to do something this year, I'd have them drop a new album this summer (June or July). With the end of the pandemic at least in sight for many of us in the US and Europe, I think an album that has positive vibes but also calling for social change would be great.

Album title: Enough or maybe Pressure

Tracklist:

1. Hot Fun In The Summertime
2. (We've Had) Enough
3. Pressure
4. Lovely Way
5. Throwing Your Life Away (feat. The Weeknd)
6. Can't Get Your Weight Off Of Me
7. Never Again [Chicago 1945]

Bonus track: The Loser (feat. Paris Jackson)

Paris wouldn't feature on a track titled 'The Loser' w/her Dad... if any it would be - Lovely Way...

What's the deal with Lovely Way? Haven't heard much info about it apart from Mark Ronson who was supposedly working on it yeas ago.

Unless a song is mostly incomplete and needs to be completed in order to be released then I see no reason for another artist to feature on an MJ song

Without The Weeknd please :-/

(Not anything against or for The Weeknd but that song seems so great I hope we get the clean vanilla version/demo...)

After the success of LNFSG with JT, it would make complete business sense to use a current artist as a feature on a promotional single. As for Hot Fun In The Summertime, it's the only duet I can see being as a song included on the main tracklisting.

A couple of fans tried getting the song recently, a short snippet followed. A ballad/love song it seems.

I mean I'd assume that if any new album comes out that the Estate will follow the successful pattern of Xscape and include all the original versions in a deluxe edition.

I'm not sure why anyone is expecting anything & nothing has even been mentioned unless these are just ideas.

‘You Are A Liar’ was one of the many songs that Michael Jackson considered recording for his ‘Invincible’ album, as confirmed also by authors Chris Cadman and Craig Halstead.

‘Rampage’ was one of the first finished tracks for the ‘Invincible’ album (it was written, produced and completed in the early recording sessions of the album, i.e., in 1999).

As regards ‘Man In Black’, Adrian Grant confirmed in a fanzine (many years ago) that he actually heard a finished version of the song, he liked it, and he described Michael Jackson’s vocals as amazing.

‘Man In Black’ was one of the few, new songs for the ill-fated ‘Decade’ compilation album.

Later, Michael Jackson was about to include ‘Man In Black’ in his ‘Dangerous’ album (as confirmed by American author Joseph Vogel), but the song was eventually left out from that album.

‘D.I.E.’ (also known as ‘Dance Is Entertainment’) was written in 2006, but the singer did not record vocals on it.

‘Pressure’ (a song that Bryan Loren originally co-wrote with Michael Jackson) was intended for the ‘Dangerous’ album, but the song was shelved.

Then, Michael Jackson handed the ‘Pressure’ song to Rodney Jerkins and his team (LaShawn Daniels, Fred Jerkins III) to update it and to complete it, which they did but the song was eventually left out from the ‘Invincible’ album.

Yeah it was me - I've posted about it before, I got the snippet & shared it. The guy is one of the top traders in music and most respected but of course certain MJ fans knew better and it was 'obviously fake'.

With all groupbuys you need a co-ordinator, someone respected, to arrange & collect the funds. No one would do it because of MJs legal team

At least I tried lol

Who said it was fake? It's a shame nothing came to fruition.. Hopefully it will be unveiled officially, whatever the plans are... At least they wouldn't have to get permission for this one like they would with 'Chicago 1945'

Oh man, so many people who knew absolutely nothing spoke with such confidence/arrogance on the situation. I got bombarded on YT with know-it-alls telling me what was happening, even on this forum.

Not sure if it was out of jealousy or what, but it was pathetic. Tried my best but some just didn't appreciate it - can only imagine what a billion dollar business feels like pouring a lot of resources into releases that don't even need to happen.
