I think the ripping of the shirt just destroys me because of how powerful he seems when he does it. It's like he is overcome with this animal urgency and I'm in love with it. He's so intense and aggressive. It's just everything I dream of lol.

HOW COULD ANYONE FORGET THE GOLD PANTS ERA?! That will never happen!! I'm just addicted to the Bad era right now. I go through cycles lol.

PS: I have been using gifrun.com to make the gifs...definitely the easiest one I've found so far, when making gifs from YouTube videos! Just FYI :)

I am on Dangerous at the moment. That gold fencing outfit, when he does body roll, abs movements, crotch grabbing, so much more enhanced by the outfit. :love::love:🤩
I am starting to see the appeal of Bad era now.

Wait...are you saying you did not understand the appeal of the Bad era before this?! I feel like the appeal of the Bad era is SO apparent I can hardly keep from screaming right now just thinking about it lol. Here's the thing about the bad era: in so much of the concert footage, Michael has this, like....youthful exuberance. He is SO high energy and he is SO happy. He is literally beaming during half of his performances. He is playful and so alive. Also his curls are just, GOD, so fucking sexy I want to die lol. Everything about his appearance is just overwhelmingly beautiful and I am in love with all of the different outfits, like the silver zip jacket that is so form fitting, and I love the belts and their strategic placement lol. It's also the first footage I've noticed where his, um....assets(?) are very pronounced at times. I think the Bad era is when he started to embrace himself as a sexy and sexual person and allowing the world to see him that way. You know what I mean?

None of this is at all to take away from the Dangerous era which is absolutely stunning too. In fact, the Dangerous era was my first obsession lol. I'm not a fan of the fencing outfit that much, because I just don't like the style of that kind of outfit. But I love what it emphasizes on his body and I agree that you can see his movements in a more pronounced way, which is glorious. I saw a GIF like a hundred pages back in this thread (LOL) of him slowly rubbing his fingers over his crotch in the fencing outfit and I thought I was going to pass out. Like I legit stared at that for like 20 minutes lol. I also think him being a little older and confident in himself and just being more grown up and mature is really sexy (that's the biggest attraction to me of the HIStory era too, actually). In the Dangerous era he seems really self assured and like a seasoned solo performer. Obviously he already was at the time of Bad, but you know what I mean.

Dangerous era Michael is also insanely sexy to me because I love how his dancing evolved. I am OBSESSED with the Dangerous perfromance at the AMAs in 1993 and at the MTV VMAs in 1995. But the 93 one is my absolute favorite. Michael dancing in a suit and tie is too much for my fragile heart and body to handle. He OWNS everything around him in that era it's just spectacular.

Earlier today I had a conversation about the meaning of life and the existential value of art and creation -- what matters when the world is burning and suffering abounds? -- you know, that light after dinner kinda convo. But I realize now I've been overthinking this whole thing. The answer lies, ever so simply, in this GIF of Michael touching himself and grinding into the air like the mesmerizing stage-beast he is. I'm not sure if I've stared at this for 2 minute, 20 minutes, or 2 hours, but whichever it is, it is not enough lol.

That said, the GIF I had in mind is a close up of his crotch with one finger gently caressing it in a way that is downright pornographic, if porn could ever dream of being so hot. I want to see it again and I am loudly declaring this desire to anyone who will listen both in hopes of manifesting my own destiny, but also because I am a monster, and entirely unashamed of how much a completely clothed Michael can destroy my entire life. You know, in a good way lol.

I was literally ROTFL after reading this for 5 minutes. Michael touching himself on-stage without a worry in the world for few seconds is the answer to life! On-stage he did what pleased him. True, It is as simple as that.

LOL I was in a wild mood a few hours ago, that’s for sure. But I stand by everything I said! Michael touching himself on stage is everything that’s been missing from my life pre- January 2022 and now that I’ve found it, I refuse to let it go! Haha

Omg if you actually know the moment I’m referring to and you can replicate some version of that GIF I will love you forever. It is somewhere in the hundreds of back pages of this thread. When I first saw it, I think my heart actually stopped. I eventually zoomed in and stared at it for longer than you can reasonably imagine. It is mesmerizing lol. But also I was legitimately kind of shocked at just how *caressing* it is and could not believe Michael gifted us such a sight lol.

Oh and don’t worry, that monster comment was made facetiously :) though it is wonderful to know I’m not alone AND to be reminded that he was only getting more bold as he got older and obviously more comfortable embodying his boundless sexiness on stage!

Igenuinely can't handle thinking about what his thought process may have been for any of this. like really WHAT is he thinking when he does this kind of choreography and what effect is he expecting, or hoping to have on us? How aware was he of it and why did he want to do it? The possible answers to those questions make me insane in the best way!

This one may be a very different vibe from everything else we have been sharing, but I cannot get over the smooth swag of this popped collar moment in Billie Jean. A few nights ago I was smoking and going hard on an MJ YouTube binge fest with my dog (who, while a fan of Michael, simply cannot appreciate him as much as he should) and when we got to this moment I rewound it 500 times. In my affected state I felt I had full embodied knowledge of how it would feel to exist as an 80s preteen girl watching this for the first time. I’m and adult woman now and I’m dying inside from the hotness. His Thriller era is so marvelously underrated and sexy!

Ohhh I do enjoy very much!! I love thinking about it though because it’s so hot to imagine him actively wanting to trigger these feelings lol. The thought of that is almost as wonderful as the performance itself!
