Anyone know the source of this snippet? I'm willing to bet that it's fake but the snippet itself sounds convincing enough.

That actually sounds a lot like the other snippet of Adore You that leaked couple weeks. So im gonna say it is actually real

Confirmed on Michael Jackson: For The Record:
Ruffin was asked to submit songs for Michael to consider, and he in turn invited boyband A1 – with whom he had collaborated previously – to work with him. Members of A1, interviewed on the Big Breakfast TV show in the UK in February 2001, stated they had written three songs for Michael, and said they felt it was a great honour for them to do so.
If ever recorded by Michael, all three songs remain unreleased.

New little exclusive of the day:

I was also interested in this rumor and I was able to question the singer Christian Ingebrigsten of the group A1 who would have composed for MJ in 2001.

He told me that he did write a song for MJ with the help of Ray Ruffin. But he never recorded it. The name of this song is "I Pray". It would be this other member of the group A1, Ben Adams, who also wrote a song for MJ with Ray Ruffin called "That Kind Of Lover". I haven't had a response from him yet.

I also looked for a long time for this “famous” Ray Ruffin, who is completely unknown to me. I found a person who would be "Son of Jimmy Ruffin&Nephew of David Ruffin, Temptations": https://twitter.com/RayRuffinMusic
This account is closed. I asked him on Facebook where he is under the account "Team Ray Ruffin". If anyone finds a way to contact him, please let me know. Your help would be invaluable!

Ok, so the topic is going to be different from the above, but has anyone mentioned about 'Changes' and its existence and leak in this thread? I am very curious about that song, feels like a great one. Sorry if I missed someone mentioning it.
Also, I think at least a small portion of us have scratched our heads about how much is known about each unreleased/existence unconfirmed song. Can someone please make a summary about the past 200, if not a few ten pages? This will be helpful not only for ourselves but for new people seeing this thread. We should summarize, like every 10 or so pages so that every reader gets an image of what we have uncovered, just sayin. I know that many of us have a lot of other things to do, but it will be helpful to all of the community. Please help the people that are lost about a song.
Another thing is, if anyone is interested in searching, especially confirmed pieces of lost songs, I think with enough attention, we can get the help of the LMW community too and do an upscale search of a particular song. This may be unreasonable, but could be a hypothetical plan. tbh, i dunno. I've talked about the LMW community in another thread once, and although its page about MJ lost songs might not be too reliable, the LMW community are probably pros at finding lost songs. What do you guy think about this?
Lastly, I want to state that, in my opinion, we can't simply just say that a song is the only song that's considerable for release. It's not like there's NO chance that there's another song near the same time era that's in pretty good condition that isn't found yet, right? (e.g, This song is the only song in the This Is It era that's considerable for release!)

I've got to say it frustrates me when I read about songs that were "written for Michael" it's as if he didn't write almost all of his best work solely. I just wished he focused on completing more of his own ideas.

A controversial opinion of mine is Michael didn't have the best ear for "hits" that he didn't write himself. The proof of that is not only on Invincible, but also who he chose to work with Invincible era onwards.

Also in the 93 deposition when Mike talks about Hot Street, I'm sure he said "I loved that one but they didn't think it was strong enough, I thought it was wonderful" (or something like that) Not that Hot Street is a bad song at all, but it wasn't strong enough to be released

I kinda disagree with the "Invincible Era Onwards" argument. I believe that Buxer, M.Prince and Neff-U were some of the greatest picks to collaborate with. Yeah he also chose Will.I.Am but let's not forget that in the 90s he worked with Loren as well.
I personally think that Michael used a lot of different artistic options to have a great variety on different themes.

To be fair that's a good point mate, I had forgot about Neff U when I wrote the post if I'm honest
