Taj Jackson's MJ Documentary - Updates and Discussion [MERGED]

One doc, one movie, ain't really gonna undo it. Truth runs marathons, but it seems like it takes only one scandal for any one of us to be thrown away like trash.

The MJ Cast just released a 2 hour interview with Taj. I won't go into too much detail, you're welcome to listen for yourselves. Takeaway points were:

• He wants to release it before the biopic.
• He wants to release it before and if the trial happens.
• The Estate are 'supporting the project'
• Hinted that fundraiser was to pay for a pilot episode.
• 2 entities offered to pay for the complete series but never came through.
• Leaving Neverland 2 is definitely coming.
• 100% confident he will complete.

It's hard to believe a Jackson (excluding MJ and Janet) and their projects.....

Most of the time it's all pie in the sky , very little ever comes to fruition.

The truth is that nobody is interested in the truth other than us, the more shocking the scandal is the more interesting something becomes.

Nobody is gonna sit through a positive piece on the allegations. It doesn't sell.

At approx 38m 30s / 39m Taj agrees with Charles Thomson that the ruling from the California Court of Appeal regarding the WR lawsuit was nothing more than virtue signalling. Interesting.

Glad to hear some update, though it's still hard to believe that it'll actually get done.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Imo, Taj does sound very focused and confident in this interview and I've never heard that from him before.

And the idea of LN2 being a thing is... ****... I can't go through all of that again.
LN2 was always going to happen, sadly. DR has been filming stuff for years now. :(

I wonder how soon that LN sequel will get released. Logically it should be before the trial.
If the trial and sequel come first and MJ loses then there will be no doc, who would be interested?

It's been known that they've been working on leaving neverland 2 for quite a while now. Not a case of if but when.
Yeah I remember reading such things but I kinda just dismissed it thinking maybe it could be filmed but then not come out for some reason. But like... I just can't believe it's a thing and that it's being allowed to happen while anything to show Michael's innocence is delayed or ignored.

What would even be shown in it? I mean I have an idea or two but I don't want to jinx anything.

Will probably be about the journey that they have gone on including the trial etc. All with abuse victim narrative of course.

I'm guessing they were filming all those court appearances when WR and JS had their lawsuits thrown out. I think we all know what the story is that DR is trying to build.

It's heartbreaking.

I hear you. I do feel for Taj. I have had my criticisms of how he has handled this but I can also see he's in a difficult position. He really has to be careful how much he says.

Yep. The 'journey'.

I was talking about what would be shown in LN2, not Taj's documentary. Though Taj may have to watch how his is presented.

Though if the trial (if it happens) is part of LN2, then it may be a while yet. Still... I hate to see it happen.

No, I got that. Soz! I'm really tired and basically buggered up my reply, lol. And I agree, I have my thoughts on what I think will be in LN2 but don't really want to get into it. I mean, there will be footage from the previous court appearances, I'm sure. But I don't want to say any more. Plus, it's too depressing to even think about.

He's in a tricky position.

Oh, DR is in for the long haul. Of that I'm sure.

I don't think nobody will give af about ln2. They got debunked & now a fourth time after he's been gone since 2009 & it got dismissed. With all the things going on in the world I highly doubt people will still believe them. It's like no matter what, the truth will always prevail. & I don't think people of having the interest of sitting through another disgusting documentary like that. Wtf could they say or do more to mj now. At this point everyone knows they are lying like crazy (general public) & now its understood what the agenda with them is. I think only mj haters & sick people are the only people that will enjoy this type of bs. The fact that a network is allowing this again especially with hbo vs the estate for defamation... smh yall I wouldn't even trip about it. Mj always comes back on top everytime he gets found innocent.

Yep and it probably will be about 'us', the crazy fans who do not 'just believe' their million dollar lawsuits

I have questions now. I was under the impression when we donated that it would be one documentary, not multiple episodes and I remember Taj saying that he wanted full control, hence the funding by the fans. You can't have full control when other 'entities' are paying for the majority of the series. But I had those same concerns when I heard 'Netflix', the platform that gave us 'Cuties'. I haven't listened, but is the pilot episode now done and he is waiting for the right timing or something? I agree with those saying that nobody is waiting for a positive doc about Michael Jackson, it has been done by people who are not family and even they were called biased. I am still not sure where he wants to go with this, but I guess we'll wait and see. It seems a lot of funding for just a pilot. I mean I would assume no one in any interviews is getting paid other than maybe some travel costs and this doesn't need a huge Hollywood production. Taj is very capable of doing most of the work himself AND make it look good on a low budget. Even I have the gear and the software to make a professional looking documentary. Look at what Danny did and Jin is doing with a much lower budget and they don't have the means the family has. I don't understand why the costs need to be so high. And if it's going top be such an amazing series that 'for once and for all' will prove Michael's innocence (which I think the fans already did in many ways) then why isn't Janet funding it? I can see the Estate isn't, it's like Michael paying for his own documentary, but Taj is already involved so I don't see why Janet couldn't be. Maybe there is much more going on in this family than meets the eye. I do believe it's taking way too long, this should have been thrown out there as an answer to LN, which is now nearly 5 years old. If I were Taj I would have taken the investigations from the fans online and use it to counter the BS in LN in a coherent story. But it's way too late for that. You now need a James O'Keefe with his undercover journalists tricking Wade, Jimmy and DR into incriminating themselves. Now THAT would do something.

As for LN2, I mostly agree with wonderouzmj, people are way more awake and see through bull shit easier plus too many are busy keeping their heads above water to give a flying f**k. BUT I am not yet underestimating Egg Boy, he has had years to twist and turn the work of the fans online to debunk his first Nambla movie, and I am convinced this guy is intelligence (not a typo, I do not mean intelligenT), who else would be making a sequel to a flop and who in their right mind is going to finance it? Just be prepared that more manipulation will come and they have money and the crooked media on their side. There is powerful, demonic people behind this, just as in 1993 and in 2003. Wade came forward with his BS in 2013, we are now in 2023 and the year is not over yet.

"Ah, they wanna get my ass dead or alive
You know he really tried to take me down by surprise
I bet he missioned with the CIA
He don't do half what he say"

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

But in the end, da troot will prevail!

The thought of a Leaving Neverland 2 makes my blood boil but I'm the same as others what else can they actually talk about?

If it's just the journey for Robson and Safechuck, that's not gonna have the same impact as the shock tactics that were used in the first - sounds boring already.

One thing that I do find comforting (I hope) is that after these fools there's literally nobody else out there who could say similar shit about Michael.

The only notable people left would be Macauely Culkin and Brett Barnes , both who have always denied anything inappropriate happened.

Brett Barnes is more likely of the two though so we need to be weary of him.

I guess if a documentary is very well done and has very very good marketing it might be of any help recanting MJ's image but I am afraid documentaries don't have the same impact anymore than when LN came out..

So what other ways are there to change te narrative on a large scale to set the record straight once and for all?

Anyone..?

A TikTok series? An Insagram take-over? A famous 'investigator' making a series (like Geraldo or Aphrodite Jones)? A podcast series? A worldwide informational press release from The Estate?

You know what the problem is? You can not prove a negative. So there is no way ever anyone can ever prove Michael's innocence except God Himself. The only thing we can do is debunk what they throw and let the morons have their trial and lose. I do not have much trust in the justice system anymore but I have faith that God will watch over this BS and make sure justice is served.

True

I wonder how Russell Brand's career will end up now that he's been labeled a sexual predator.

It's extremely hard to brush off that image regardless of the outcome.

Yeah Russell. Used to hate the guy but he seems to have been making some good content lately with lots of followers touching on topics they don't want you to hear. Maybe now he understands why Michael was falsely accused.

It's absolutely true that you cannot prove a negative but I definitely believe that if MJ's (whole) story would be explained in a truthful, powerful way very little people would still believe any of the accusers.

I am more concerned of how this can happen, since a documentary like LN had everything at the right time: the 'MeToo' movement, the rise of streaming content, a post mortem interest in MJ etc. It must be something new and big imho

Not new, to me it's crystal clear how this is happening.
