What's wrong with it? Motown 25 was the event where the world first noticed this. I don't understand why you can't even look forward to a positive documentary coming out that celebrates MJ and hopefully introduces new people to his music. And no one is forced to look at it.

Saying the same qoutes is what's wrong with it! Why even have these people on it? I wanted a sonic fantasy with this footage & music & interviews from people who actually worked on the record & his brothers. It's a few people from that era still alive. Thriller influenced the world... we get it already🙄
 
Sad that this is looking to be another Spike-type drudge. As much as I think some positive reinforcement from mainstream celebrities is important given the circumstances, the fact that over half the features have no purpose bothers me a bit. I’m not here to listen to Usher talk about how much he likes Thriller, I’m here to hear about how the album was made.

It's likely small moments to break up the pacing. It's a documentary, but that doesn't mean it's a 3 hour lecture.

We'd need a seminar for something like that.

An in depth docu series would probably be needed to cover all the work done on each album.
As long as the doc is well made, I'm ok with it. (I need to see more of that VT footage!)

Dangerous deserves a project/doc next imo. It's time, estate. Mj released music in the 90s too.
