No reason is given but if I'm going to give a hypothesis. Finaldi leans heavily on settlement cases, now that it's going to trial, he likely knows he doesn't have a legitimate and rational case.

Long time attorney...more i stare at that ,more it feels good. It is expected that this law firm dropped the lapdogs case too. Sorry to call you that James but i still wish you'd come to our side. Wishing you would drop him then he can fight it himself. All on it's own. I would hate to think you are being pressured by robson. When people said it is out of character for you to do this, i agreed.

This tweet however, ... seems to be the best update yet, Who else thinks that ~?

I really wish there was something I could say to make us all feel more at ease. Here's a few things I know of that might help: MJ's still being played on the radio as much as ever. His videos are still being played on BET Her. MJ: the Musical, as far as I know, is still bringing in audiences and filling up theaters. A biopic film is coming. And there's a documentary that will likely counter LN in the works (Trial By Media: The Michael Jackson Story). I hope this helps.

- Judge Young has been replaced with Judge Edward B. Moreton Jr.. Robson filed a motion to get him removed.

Other News:
- The Estate has hired Attorney Jennifer Keller to join the legal team. She's the lead attorney in the Kevin Spacey case.

Thanks for the update.

I never heard of either Judge Young or Moreton. I'm assuming that the latter is bad news, or that the estate would have a better chance with Young. I'm just thinking. Also, I never heard of Keller either, but if she helped Kevin Spacey win, then it sounds like the estate has a great defense.

Well, the hope would be to have judge young because he tossed the case out in the past. He has seen the B.S. Robson and crew have pulled and is onto their game. But is the exact reason Robson filed to get him removed... It's not really bad news necessarily but the playing field has changed.

Its amazing to me that robson can get judges removed,

But Michael was stuck with 2 racist judges, one of whom violated his civil rights.

Robson clearly has powerful people backing him.

I wouldn't put past that.
And to think that the fact-checked DERELICT of a mockumentary of LN by a certain Dan Greed can get
into Sundance gives me nothing but red flags

I really don't understand what could they possibly want? More money? How can anyone enjoy money obtained through such shady means!! This kind of thinking is beyond me. When Michael was alive, you could still think that they want to hurt him, can't tolerate his success. But now he is gone, no one can hurt him anymore. What is the point of all this now!

It is the most painful ...thing ..it's just groundhog day to me :( i guess (god willing ,) we are gonna have to all stick like glue in the coming months. We might need a support thread.

You have more of a handle on this thing than I do. I'm not on TwitterX. Still trying to decide whether to sign up once the trial gets going. This whole thing hurts my brain. Like, they filed in the wrong courthouse. wtf? It's like all the times they filed stuff late. Or WR's 2013 perjury. There never seem to be any sanctions. The whole thing is weird af.

Their request for a new judge was done in Santa Monica so I have no idea how it was moved to Beverly Hills in the first place. I'm not sure if California selects a judge within a county without considering court location and was a random selection or there's something to it that we're not aware of.

Clearly the Estate doesn't want it in Beverly Hills, I could speculate why they want to take it back to Stanley Mosk court (though it's been in Santa Monica) for some time. But that's just speculation... I have a couple theories, that's about it.
