I already explained. Athletic Bilbao just won the Copa Del Rey. Why do I care when I don't care about football? Three reasons:

1 - sometimes I dip into football, no idea why, I just do. My interest is very off and on. Mostly off.
2 - Athletic Bilbao haven't won a footy trophy for 40 years. 😲
3 - Have you SEEN the celebrations? Have you seen the turn-out? It's beyond fabulous. Every other football team from now on might as well not bother. Pick up your trophy and just go straight home!

Most footy teams do an open-top bus. Bilbao has an entire flotilla! :ROFLMAO: 🥰

I don't understand any of it. 🤷‍♀️

The ones I'm really confused by is that South Kensington one I posted and that one in France you just posted. I can sort of see it (kind of) in a modern building but in traditional housing like those two? I am baffled. o_O

Now I'm excited for this team too)))))) I too have noticed in myself a rare heightened fascination with achievements in soccer)))) although most of the time I'm not interested 😀

Oh, I was paying attention. It’s just that the magnitude of my general lack of interest when it comes to sports is mighty enough to not let me hear any bells from neither ‘Athletic Bilbao’ nor ‘Copa Del Rey.’ I could have guessed it was about football, alright.

People do such crazy things.

I’m mostly only interested in one single team, and more specifically one player, namely Luka Modrić of Croatia’s national team. I don’t know why, but if allowed to speculate, I think it is because he has an elegance in his play that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Also a way of thinking ahead, so to speak. It’s enjoyable to watch.
