About a week ago I saw a tweet saying it was Day 81 of 90. Allegedly the info came from a camera operator's IG account. No idea if it's legit but the person who posted it is usually reliable. But, yeah, it's been really quiet. Different angles of Jaafar on top of the car. Filming is taking place (apparently) at the Biltmore Hotel car park on 22 May. That's about it. I imagine the post - production phase will be super quiet.
 
^^ exactly! We shouldn't even be knowing about this stuff.

If the whole thing got leaked tomorrow I bet we would all spoil it for ourselves and end up watching it 👀
 
One of thing I hope is the cornerstone of this biopic is this quote from Michael

"If I sharpen my craft, maybe people will love me more"

It's taken from the rabbi tapes in 2001. It's a very poignant quote that sums Michael up as a person and I think it's heartbreaking at the same time

So unecessary why filming is short films when everybody knows the originals… and what I only see is the off the wall j5 and thriller stuff only this…

I wish they did the house too, but I think there are people living in it today and it looks quite fancy.

It might be needed for a possible montage scene; all the time in biopics, they shoot footage that seems unnecessary but it is eventually used in the film.

Damn they really do look spot on, especially Ola! The jacket looks a bit baggy though but that's just a minor nitpick lol.
 
Must admit didnt expect them to re do the thriller video but this is EPIC!

This book opens a window deep into Michaels soul. I hope Antoine Fuqua read it.

On the other hand - why wouldn't they? Surely if they left Thriller out, why would they recreate any of his videos then?
I agree this looks awesome and Ola looks amazing as well. I wonder what it will be like seeing it on the big screen... Just the idea of seeing such scenes on high resolution and sound added will increase the amazement factor so much...

I mean as big as the thriller video was i didnt think they would dare re do it
