It's true that none of us was in the room, but on the other hand, the room wasn't there either so... *cough*train station*cough*

It would be funny if the movie had Michael casually telling little James that he hasn't built a train station yet. lol

We know for a fact Michael did nothing because he literally had alibis and the timelines did not match up.

Less exciting to me than the John Logan interview but it's pretty meaningful. He's gotta be talking about the biopic, surely? Although one person did say this:

How Michael was off the stage is what Liana Marabini's new film, “A Gift from God“, tells us. The film was released on June 13, the day on which, 19 years earlier, Michael was acquitted by all the (unjust) ) accusations. I saw the film, initially the director wanted to make a documentary, then she decided to make a film with actors. She herself is a big fan and wanted to show an almost unknown aspect of him: his relationship with the faith and his love for Jesus. The film moved me and I discovered many things about him unknown to the general public. I was struck by his loneliness, his suffering from many things: his non-existent childhood, his love for Diana Ross, the incomprehension of his contemporaries. It is a minimalist film, well made, with a beautiful soundtrack, written by the French composer Jean-Marie Benjamin, who with this film created a new musical genre: the pop symphony. Good suggestion from @andjustice4some re the John Logan interview. Having watched interviews with John (not on the biopic) this is the level of research and attention to detail I expected but it's good to get it confirmed. :)

Hi y'all, haven't posted in awhile, here's my opinion.

This movie has to be 4 hours long otherwise it won't be better than the other one with Flex playing him, and that has already been confirmed cuz didn't Graham King (correct me if I'm wrong) say there's gonna be 30 songs in this movie so it's definitely gonna be long.

This movie has too be good and do not underestimate the consequences of it being bad, this movie finds itself at crossroads with other important events like the trial so they can not afford to mess this up.

What do y'all think?

The film won't be 4 hours long. I'm expecting it to be 2.5 hrs or maybe 3 hrs max. I can't see it going over 3 hours. Plus, there won't be 30 songs in the film. Not complete songs, I mean. There will be fragments of songs, stuff that will play in the background etc. Some songs might get played in full - perhaps something from a recreation of one of Michael's live shows, something like that. So, overall, it might add up to 30 songs that get used - assuming any particular song makes the final cut - but it won't be like a Michael Greatest Hits playlist or anything like that.

They spent approx 7 years preparing for this project before they started filming. That doesn't guarantee a good product but the signs so far are quite positive.

As I guessed, the film will be filled by songs probably to compensate the lack of depth.. it will include 30 songs, even MJ's tour didn't had 30 songs..

This forecast might age very badly (I hope) as having 30 songs in the movie (=not whole songs) definitely cannot be compared to songs at a concert (= whole songs are played). Besides, with Michael's gigantic discography it would be a shame if they didn't include as many as possible, and a poor judgement as well as his songs will push the movie as well as his music onwards.

Definitely second only to Jesus as far as fame and arguably popularity goes.

As a Chinese fan perhaps I can say a few words.As I know Michael Jackson is more famous than taylor swift in China-that means more people from the young generation to the older know about him,even though he is not as popular among young people.But I wonder if they are curious enough to get into the theatre.Many of them know he is a great singer and performer and properly the greatest pop star forever but they do not know any details about his life story. They can be familiar with the melody from"beat it"or "billie jean" but they can not name it.And it is also interesting that even though many of them believed in stupid rumors like skin bleaching or child sexual,they never deny that Michael is a great artist，thanks to our two major media CCTV and People's Daily.They did say many good words about Michael after his death.
