That's what I was referencing, yeahMichael thought The Toy was better than songs on Thriller. No joke.

Bumper Snippet Kid is from Dangerous and Bumper Snippet is from Bad.was that snippet taken from a recording session at Hayvenhurst or Westlake?
Hard disagree. The Bryan Loren tracks are incredibly boring and bland in my opinion. The only one that had some potential is She Got It, could’ve been a decent album track if finishedSay what you want about Bryan Loren's tracks, but Serious Effect sounds like single material.
Serious Effect sounds much smoother, much more timeless and more elegant than the rather experimental She Got It. But to each their own. Serious Effect also focuses on the behavior of women, which is why the song is a hit. She Got It targets the body only.Hard disagree. "Buffalo Bill" likely had Bruce Swedien engineering it, the basic tracks at least... In MJ's Musician magazine 1984 feature, it says that Michael chose Bruce to engineer his solo tracks as the Jacksons' prior albums had sounded thinly recorded.OMG - it would be awesome if Bill would share his notes on Victory sessions
It was either mixing the OG State of Shock during Victory session
Or
A session with all the brothers and MJ at CanAm - the fam here helped me think it was Buffalo Bill
Both of these I remember as my earliest MJ session.
I could check my journals
That said, in Bill Bottrell's earlier tweets he recalled overdubbing to a recording by Matt Forger. I wonder if Matt would ever share his calendars at some point..."Buffalo Bill" likely had Bruce Swedien engineering it, the basic tracks at least... Don’t Believe It and Seven Digits sound promising to me. I love the Stevie Wonder inspired bassline on DBI, and the meaning behind Seven Digits is very unique for MJ.I think most of us just want to hear never-before-heard material and that's it. Loren's material is simple but a bit interesting

That's fake, from what I was told the instrumental used was created by Kai (I can't say it's true, but if you notice it has samples that Kai uses a lot). This is the full instrumentalAny chance of 'House Groove' having something to do with the 'Saturday Woman' snippet?
Michael said Stevie came up with a good song for the album but they didn't keep it.On the subject of Stevie, did the song he submitted for Thriller ever get recorded? Or we don't know.
Man… I go back and forth beteeen these two songs. For All Time is actually my favorite MJ ballad of all time and I prefer it over SYPYHO. But with that being said, I think that SPYHO would fit on Dangerous better thematically.Objection! It should have been "For All Time" instead of GTS.
I wouldn't replace Gone Too Soon. A hauntingly beautiful song about loss that can hardly be found twice. Irreplaceable like friends and relatives who have left you.Objection! It should have been "For All Time" instead of GTS.
With Michael you never know what's out there. It could be just chorus vocals on all Dangerous era tapes, and yet Michael could have worked further on MiB years later unbeknowst to original producers/engineers.So is the recent BL tape stuff confirmation that Man In Black does only have a chorus or do we still think there could be a version with more vocals?
Didn't someone said, he's heard a version with vocals?Truth On Youth, I thought that didn't have vocals, just rap by LL. I guess the Loren findings show that it is actually complete?
I think you haven't seen the pictures of the Loren tapes, have you?I personally wish there was an MJ version of "To Satisfy You". That's one of the most underrated Loren Tracks.
I just listened to it for the first time in ages...I can see this being on an album with FAT, SPYHO and JoyI personally wish there was an MJ version of "To Satisfy You". That's one of the most underrated Loren Tracks.
I thought it said it was a collaboration...I think you haven't seen the pictures of the Loren tapes, have you?
Oh, yeah. Hadn't seen the lower part of the log. Turns out I have seen the tape labels and not the restI thought it said it was a collaboration...
Oh yeah I see, thanx! So someone used his instrumental and put some MJ vocals over it, or did he do it himself? That's fake, from what I was told the instrumental used was created by Kai (I can't say it's true, but if you notice it has samples that Kai uses a lot). This is the full instrumental
