[Discussion] Sexual Abuse Claims Against MJ Estate - Robson/ Safechuck/ Doe

In THAT case, the alleged claims about the script of the biopic is probably the big news. I seriously doubt the story at all, for what it's worth.

I personally do feel that these particular claims against certain people are no less malicious than those against Michael. But some will say "I just focus on Michael, I don't have anything to say or think about these others."
So they totally scrapping everything that happened in 93 out of the movie?????? 🤬🤬

Supposedly, there are reports that reshoots that are scheduled are to remove anything regarding the allegations. There are reshoots coming, but as of yet, nothing to say that removing mention of the case is the reason.

If they do that I'm not watching it sorry but THE WHOLE TRUTH NEEDS TO BE TOLD!!

If the movie won't tell the story then there needs to be a quality high budget documentary to do the job better. You'd think they'd be on that.
Jin Chohan's documentary may be our only hope if it comes down to that. Maybe Taj's too (but that's a very big maybe).

Yes. Finally!

"Regarding the Safechuck/Robson lawsuit against the MJJ companies, the judge has ordered a trial date of November 23, 2026. Next hearing is on March 14, 2025."

"If you're interested in this case, one person you should know about is the retired Hon. Gerald Rosenberg, who will be the discovery referee prior to the trial."

*gasp* omg valentines day :0

In a recent court filing, the Estate labeled Safechuck’s claims as “frivolous” and pointed out glaring inconsistencies that cast doubt on the credibility of his accusations.

In their filing, the companies did not hold back, calling the lawsuit “scurrilous” and “baseless.” They have asked the court to dismiss the case entirely and are seeking reimbursement for the legal fees they’ve incurred defending against what they describe as a smear campaign against the King of Pop. For years, the estate and companies have tirelessly defended his name against accusations that lack evidence, insisting that Michael was a victim of false narratives driven by greed and media sensationalism.

The estate has long expressed plans of filing additional motions for dismissal prior to any trial, based on alternate grounds.James' 3rd amended complaint from 2017 (previously deemed not triable by two separate court judges, prior to the appeals) remains as flawed as his 1st.

Mj vibe is saying about a leaving neverland part 2! Sorry if wrong place to put this, is this true?
The thing that jumped out to me when I saw the story were these comments on X from @JuliaBerkowitz1

"So the origin of these news is the British tabloid, The Sun. I haven't seen it yet anywhere else. And the unnamed source they cite calls it "Finding Neverland"

"Not saying, that it's not true. The Sun might have information on it coming up, but notice how they fell since 2019. Instead of a worldwide, HBO backed PR campaign they are now getting promoted in The Sun by sloppy unnamed sources..."

Extra comments from @Mjvibe:
"Rod McPhee who wrote this article is very close to Channel 4 PR team. As I said in my articles, it seems only Channel 4 has commissioned and paid for the second mockumentary. HBO is out of the picture."

"This "movie" is said to be only 47 min long. We cannot see it will have as an impact as the first one and clearly Channel 4 is only trying to recoup the money they invested in. Lucky Reed is bold or he would be pulling his hair out! LOL"

47min is a bit laughable, honestly.

I wonder if the Cascios are going to be part of it.

But anyway, looks like they are coming very weak for this one.

Thank you for posting news about it in this thread; it doesn't deserve any attention in its own thread. I'm having trouble finding it being discussed anywhere  That's a good sign

Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson captures the attempt by Safechuck, Robson and their legal representatives to seek justice for what happened. The hour-long film will detail the personal toll of going public with their accusations and the backlash from Jackson’s global army of fans.

Big sob story piece about the big bad estate and mean MJ fans I guess

Yeah it is alas happening March 18th, its pretty much on most news sites here . I think and hour or 90 mins . Didn't read full article but https://deadline.com/2025/02/leavin...ckson-premiere-date-channel-4-hbo-1236296110/ ,

This Deadline piece says 1 hour, which could easily be 47 minutes...

Tbh... wtf is this? lol. I am extremely bothered that this is even coming into existence, but 47 minutes just on Channel 4 after a previous 4 hours and a massive media campaign? That's a massive fall and I can't really see what will be gained from this. What is the main point or argument of this documentary? In the article it says the goal is to highlight how MJJ Productions tried to stop them from having their day in court but, like... the court date just hasn't happened yet. As of right now, it's still on the books. It's just seems strange because this is an unresolved situation, so why would you throw this short little doc out there, even from a narrative perspective? There's no conclusion and I'm confused as to what the aim of it truly is. Whether 47 minutes or an hour, that is quite short so I wonder how much content they even have really? It actually makes me wonder if they are just fulfilling a contract with Channel 4 or something.

I don't know. I'm incredibly irritated by all of this. But knowing how short it is going to be does make me feel a little better.

No streaming service looks to be picking this up. I don't think anyone, outside of mainstream US/UK media outlets striving for a narrative, would have any interest in this. Part 1 and its fallout (or lack thereof) did little to nothing to move the needle for the public (no doubt in part due to its shoddy investigation work), so streaming services must have an idea for how little interest there is.
This will come and go, especially for local TV.

🤞

Apparently there is a 3rd part in the works (mini convo on X), supposed to be dropped to coincide with the trial next year. I've decided not to post about this anymore. It's so tiresome.

Their first mistake: Believing that they could provably lie about something so serious and their audience wouldn't fact check them. As much as they want to believe that only the fans care enough to question them, that's not true.

Their second mistake: Believing that they can lie their way out of this when in reality they're making it worse for themselves. Not that I'm complaining because it only proves further what we all already knew.

Stay tuned...

IMHO, it may not have as much of an impact as the first 4-hour installment. Nevertheless, those who support MJ will be on the frontlines again to push back against any more claims with their own investigations, the kind the journalistic media should've done in the first place,

I really feel your pain here. It would be a kick in the teeth to M & his fans who endured it, twice. Those who took their lives...
Also, the reason why the HTW /Dangerous tour was cut short in 1993 and many would say the reason why M is not with us all ...today.
Many will be very very angry if the whole story is not told so here's hoping they do the right thing in all of this.

They bastards at Channel 4 and planning on playing the original Leaving Neverland documentary before the new Leaving Neverland 2. 😡

The second one will have very little impact but for them to show the original 2019 in prime time tv again makes me sick
