How Are You Feeling Today?

It was cloudy and cool today. But weather reports predict severe weather tomorrow. Hearing about that makes me nervous. I just hope it won't be as bad they assume it would be.

The weather came through this morning, and it was mostly rain. There was a little thunder, but that was it. The odd thing is part of me expected it to happen this way, but I still dread whenever I hear there's a chance for severe weather or whenever there's a watch or warning out for my area. Thank God, something terrible happened.

In my city the sun is shining, tomorrow is my tattoo appointment (have to get there at 7.30 a.m. by train and will be back at about 11 p.m. - when will they invent beaming to places?). Nevermind, feeling better the last 2 days and hope it will stay like that for a while. Hope you all have a sunny day, too 😊.

Sounds nice. It's been clear and sunny over here too. Although, the temperature dropped some.

You think DB has bad timing? You should travel on Amtrak. Where delays are frequent, thanks to freight trains taking priority over the lines. Our country (in my opinion and others) has the worst rail network. It used to be so much better in the first half of the 20th century. Now our country is just dependent on cars.

Well, I had so many bad experiences with DB, I cannot believe that it could be any worse. Trains exploding would be worse, but that's about it 😩. Do you have experiences in both countries?

I survived the Tattoo appointment, in the end it was quite painful. But I am happy and relieved now. Still gotta arrive at home on time, fingers crossed 🤞

The only country I traveled to was Canada. So I can't say anything about Germany or anywhere close to that. But I can say that both Amtrak and Via-rail (Canada's equivalent to Amtrak) have similarities and differences. But Via-rail wins with how nice their staff is.

I also can't compare. But I can say Deutsche Bahn is really terrible. Many trains are delayed or they just don't drive just because it's a little windy outside 😂. It's so embarrassing...even the staff is embarrassed a lot of times.

On topic: still feel a little unproductive, but I was productive in RDR2 :ROFLMAO:

hahahaha! Exactly. There are a lot of wild stories of train chaos and failure in Germany. One of my fave just a couple of years ago (aka in this century):
Waiting in a local train, it was supposed to just leave ... then we were told by train staff (I am paraphrasing) WE HAVE A TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND ARE CURRENTLY WAITING FOR A TELEFAX TO ARRIVE SO WE CAN FIX THE PROBLEM 🤣 ... of course it proceeded to be chaotic and I think we had to change trains eventually.
