Did Motif somehow manage to get his hands on the multitracks for Threatened or what is this (see 05:21).

I’m with you 100%. He goes "da-da-da" in the bridge section of this mix while the supposedly “older mix” has a lot more instrumentation going on; how can the former mix possibly be more finished?

What were actually getting from the estate in the next posthumous album: 9 songs that we have already heard from the Ultimate Collection and a single song that we have literally never heard of before.
 
Well, Michael never really moved beyond scratch vocals. Especially after HMH leaked. Since Brad went back to flying after the November 08 sessions, I don't think Michael was comfortable recording just with anyone. I'm hoping we hear more Neff-U stuff. I think that's the most likely producer for the next album and knew where Michael wanted to go sonically.

So I think I like The Way You Love Me, Hollywood, Best of Joy, Dark Lady.

It wouldn't be weird at all, as far as I know, the early 2000s leak of Xscape is apparently meant to be from 2002, while the version we got in Xscape Deluxe is from 1999, and yet the leaked version is lacking strings and other instruments in different sections.

I don't know if the leak is actually a mix newer than the one on Xscape Deluxe, that's just what I've red here in the past.

I love the melody of Days of Gloucestershire. But the lyrics and title of the song don't work. Different lyrics/title with that melody, that song is special.
