Coleman Domingo is gonna be an Oscar nominee, I can already tell. He has such a presence. “I told you what to think” left me with a pit in my stomach.

Visually, this looks incredible. The special effects in the concert scenes are outstanding, the costumes look dead on, and Jafaar looks fantastic. Some of the dialogue is a little corny, but I feel like that’s a prerequisite for any biopic lmao.

I am READY.
 
I have to be honest, whilst it looks really good I wasn’t blown away by the trailer.

I kinda expected to see a little smooth criminal at least and some emotional aspect other than MJ saying he needs to work on is own.

One thing I took from it though was the response from Joe when talking to MJ , it alluded to the fact he was abusive and trying to control Michael.
 
It looks great, yet a bit overloaded for my taste. Some longer cuts with more suspense is more my taste, but I liked what I saw!

I tend to agree but will hold off judgement until I see more. The acting looks suspect and the concert footage? I don’t know what to think? It’s all a bit strange and corny kind of what I expected. Hope the allegations will be involved or it will be a NO go for me until it hits the streamers. I hold out hope for some new music that’s about it.
 
Having watched the trailer and I say it's just alright, nothing mindblowing. It hasn't shown much beyond what we've already seen in past teasers. Those shots from the Victory Tour are really cool! The CGI looks quite rough though, not with Bubbles but when they showed the top view of Gary Indiana it looked jarring. Even on the frame where Michael was doing a peace sign to the crowd the background was looking like a shoddy greenscreen. I hope the CGI is improved by the time the movie comes out.
