They should offer him his own movie or a tv show on peacock and he can finally tell the world the truth about how he Evan and Victor Gutierrez And Rodney Allen are the ones who committed a crime against Michael. And of course he tell his own story about all the fucked up things they did to him to.I think it's easier to find Jordan Chandler and change the settlement than to look for a possible loophole.
Not if they pay him.It would actually look very good, like they're telling Jordan's side of the story. Of course the media won't like that, but who cares about the media?
Well, if they're born and raised in the US there is really nothing italian about them, only the surname. But I have to admit that I don't get along with many Italians for a reason: they think they can take advantage of you. Unfortunately it has happened to Michael many many times as he was very naive, with "italians" and other nationalities.congrats and sorry you all are saddled with the disgusting cascios. The whole of italy should disown them.
"The estate and filmmakers are reluctant to tackle Jackson’s 2005 trial in California on 14 counts, including child molestation and providing alcohol to a minor, charges he was unanimously acquitted of, The Post has learned."
"They would also like to avoid the controversial Martin Bashir interview that preceded his 2003 arrest, with insiders saying one idea that’s been discussed is ending a second film earlier — around 2001."
"And while the allegations that reshaped Michael’s later life remain part of the timeline, sources say the plan is to approach them without naming accusers and focus on Jackson defending himself publicly."
“They’re not ignoring that it happened,” a source said. “But they’re not going to re-live it the way people expect.”'
"Sources say the next film is also expected to lean heavily into Michael’s personal life — including his marriages to Elvis Presley's only daughter, Lisa Marie, and later to his nurse, Debbie Rowe, who gave birth to Michael’s oldest son, Prince, and his only daughter, Paris. The mother of his second son, Bigi, has never been publicly divulged."
I don't know if this has already been posted here but this article claims that the 1993 allegations and the 2005 trial won't be depicted in Part 2 but they'll still address the allegations in some form, focusing on Michael defending himself publicly![]()
Jackson family eager to cash in after $217M opening weekend for ‘Michael’ —with talks of ‘Thriller’ tour and movie sequels
“Most of the family is completely behind a second film, a third film. The family is going to ride that for as long as they can,” a source said.nypost.com
II. Given how the first movie didn't really show any writing process at all, I doubt we would get any in the second movie.
This is correct. Shorter is better to fit more showings, and an age rating of PG-13 or under is better to reach larger audiences. A longer extended edition can be released for home video release, but most people don't purchase physical media anymore and rely on streaming services.I wonder why they chose the 2 hour runtime? There seems to be so much cut content from the 80s. I remember someone saying that shorter runtime means that they can have more showings in a single day.
Suzzane Depasse, Tommy Chong, and Diana Ross. I think Diana Ross was the one to publicly present the Jackson 5 to the world, but not really the one who discovered them to get them signed on with Motown Records.Maybe Diana ross thought she would be the one seen to discover the J5, she did seem to like taking credit ,even though it was not her , think its fair to say she is quite the diva
I read that they need to get about $700 million in ticket sales before they will consider making part two.The Lionsgate CEO confirmed they haven't even sat down to think about a second film yet, but Stacy Brown knows the score does he. What a loser.
They can save money and focus on Evan Chandler instead of Jordan. Evan is dead, and in the U.S. the dead don't have rights against libel and slander. They could film a scene of Michael's car breaking down in front of Evan's house and him pushing Michael to buy his Robin Hood Men in tights screen play with Michael being assertive and face palming every time it is brought up. Show Michael's private investigator breaking the law listening in to the private phone conversations Evan is having about his extortion plot. Show from Jordy's perspective a view waking up from sodium amytal without using his name, and without showing his face. Movies always show wake-up scenes without showing the face when someone has been drugged. Show Evan trying to keep things under control over a phone call with lawyers while Jordy is emancipating from him, without mentioning him or showing him. Show Raymond taking Evan's suicide note away after the police turn over everything to him. There's lots of ways this can be done. They don't even have to use Evan's name since the public doesn't know or care who these people are, they can be fictitious names. They could offer him to be a producer to gain some profit from Part 2.
I say that is bullshit.I read that they need to get about $700 million in ticket sales before they will consider making part two.
The movie is not called Evan. No way will that work. They can save money and focus on Evan Chandler instead of Jordan. i think they should cover the allegations, use any facts they want that can fit into the film, and paint Michael with the truth. honestly, i wouldn’t mind a completely nuanced take, where maybe the film is critical of his hanging with children, but maintaining that he wasn’t guilty, and that his actions didn’t make him the monster many believe him to be.Addressing the allegations is damned if you do, damned if you don’t. If they address them, reviewers and critics will complain that they didn’t paint him as a disgusting pedophile. People aren’t interested in an objective movie; they want one that validates the picture of MJ they believe to be true.
They’ll never go near the Chandler case. Best case scenario is we get the Bad and Dangerous eras.
The press is not intrested, people are. The press never was interested in a succsessful Michael biopic, people are.People aren’t interested in an objective movie; they want one that validates the picture of MJ they believe to be true.

I just followed only the headlines of Roger Friedman. In time of pre-sales he wrote ticket-selling of the biopic is not thrilling, they have to hope now of positive press-reviews to make a change, lol . After the first week he acknowledged the good sells but indicated it will dropp quickly. Then he worte about the daily drops out of context (Michaelmnia is over) and not explainig the sells are still outstandig. He is obsessed to write about other artists are on the top of i-tunes, follows the views and streams of a new Beatles-songs on youtoube and spotify but nothing what happens with Michael on the charts right now.
It doesn't matter if it makes no sense - they will all only go on speculating about how to include allegations for the next 2 years. That's what i've seen. By some miracle if a second movie is made and releases and has no allegations, they will all go see it on day one after continuously complaining about lack of allegations for 2 years. That's certainly what's happened with the first one. They will whinge about critics, credibility, people - even though the box office is literally SPEAKING about what people want to see and it is not the ****** allegations. Is there REALLY nothing else to talk about, than ‘the allegations’?
I can not be the only one popping onto this thread, to see some joy or positive news about THIS hugely successful movie, only to be bombarded with post after post about scummy chandler and the NEXT movie.
Sorry guys. Is it not possible to keep this talk on a thread about ‘Possible 2nd movie wants’ or similar?
The constant “I demand to watch (on IMAX?) Michael suffering with the pain of allegations which destroyed his life…well…it’s sucking the air out of the room for me.
Again, I’ll ask;
WHO is this for?
What will it achieve?
Whose minds are supposed to be changed?
Let’s enjoy the success of this film, PLEASE. As, with everything in life, it will be fleeting and we are in danger of missing the enjoyment.
There will be a long time after to speculate about a film that may, or may not happen. But, if some can not wait, can we take it to another dedicated thread.
It’s getting to the point where it’s all ‘Off Topic’ on here
Said, ‘with love’ of course.![]()

i don’t think this is a fair generalization - i was very excited for the movie, ever since it was announced. it came and… well. i had fun with it, its very enjoyable, i watched it twice, i preordered the collector’s edition - because i’m a massive fan. and the movie is great for what it is in isolation, but its not a great film unfortunately. michael deserved a better movie, by leaps and bounds, and its not really anyone’s fault due to the production issues and whatnot. i can love the movie, think that its not a great film, and be happy with its success. people point my shirts out to me and ask if i’ve seen the movie, i tell them to go watch it, they’ll have a lovely time. but i expect FAR better for the sequel, something more personal, more dissecting, spending more time with its supporting cast, and yeah, the allegations were a massive part of his life, it’d be weird to cover those years and not include them. that doesn’t mean we can’t get the superbowl, tours, studio scenes, etc. of course i’ll watch it no matter what, and probably love it no matter what, but a spade is a spade, no matter how pretty it looks. It doesn't matter if it makes no sense - they will all only go on speculating about how to include allegations for the next 2 years. So someone can décide if he/she can appear in a movie/ tv/ Netflix show, while he/she is a public figure ? All those movies during MJ s lifetime, did they ask MJ his agrément?Maybe Diana ross thought she would be the one seen to discover the J5, she did seem to like taking credit ,even though it was not her , think its fair to say she is quite the diva
I didn't think the movie was great either and have barely been interested in the biopic. But if you see the content discussed here - 75% is about the allegations - will they include it? how will they include it? I will not watch unless they include it. Can Jordan come out of hiding and nuke his life so it can be included? and on and on and on. It's so tiresome.i don’t think this is a fair generalization - i was very excited for the movie, ever since it was announced. it came and… well. i had fun with it, its very enjoyable, i watched it twice, i preordered the collector’s edition - because i’m a massive fan. and the movie is great for what it is in isolation, but its not a great film unfortunately. michael deserved a better movie, by leaps and bounds, and its not really anyone’s fault due to the production issues and whatnot. i can love the movie, think that its not a great film, and be happy with its success. people point my shirts out to me and ask if i’ve seen the movie, i tell them to go watch it, they’ll have a lovely time. but i expect FAR better for the sequel, something more personal, more dissecting, spending more time with its supporting cast, and yeah, the allegations were a massive part of his life, it’d be weird to cover those years and not include them. that doesn’t mean we can’t get the superbowl, tours, studio scenes, etc. of course i’ll watch it no matter what, and probably love it no matter what, but a spade is a spade, no matter how pretty it looks.
IKR? I am pretty efficient rn in just blocking out the critics, the same way I just don't watch/read the daily news anymore. VALID improvement of my inner peace and mental wellbeing ...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM?!

I’m so pissed off. Why do they keep bashing this movie?? It’s obviously not bad. What a shame... If I had the chance, I’d ban these "critics" for good
And this thread!I am pretty

Try to ban the critics from your mind!
