The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

As for the Buxer songs (Rocker, Adore You, Water, Boy No, etc.) those apparently all came from Brad and Michael Prince's iCloud. All in all, a good chunk of these leaks are only happening because MJ's collaborators have very shitty internet security.
I was gonna list all the songs which are known to be circulating but I realized that if it's true that Michael Prince got hacked then it means a good amount of material out there will be stuff we never ever heard of. Reminder that Michael Prince himself admitted he has everything the Estate has + more, so there's really a non-zero chance random songs we have no info of like "Dancing For Love" and "Everybody Wants To Be A Movie Star" can randomly surface online.

Yeah. If it's true, then the collectors could have way more than once speculated. And if it's true that MP has everything the estate has, AND more, then a large percentage of the vault might be made public within the next couple years.

It's even crazier how so little has leaked in that case

Yeah, this is kinda making me rethink those songs ZX1 put in his polls, like Buffalo Bill and the rest… but idk, still smells a bit like trolling to me.

Think Twice, Somewhere in Time, Red Eye… what were the other tracks in the polls?

If it isn't true that they got hacked the list is already pretty extensive as is, it's all but confirmed that the songs registered in the Copyright Office are in the hands of collectors, + mix in songs from other sources like Brad's other laptop and the number reaches the dozens.
Exactly. There's already a lot of material out there excluding the MP stuff. But add that in, and you have quite a haul.

Regarding the recent snippet rampage, it's a mixture of these four facts:
1) A combined effort of ripping off MJ's famous B-team: Brad Buxer, Michael Prince & Brad Sundberg. Basically every song Brad Sundberg has ever played - including "VIP ticket" material - has been secretly recorded with professional devices. Sometimes people even picked off the cables that were connecting the speakers for the audience.

2) There's a collector who has been streaming entire multi-tracks. People were - of course - recording them. Leaks have happened from that. The guy also played some songs. That material is being circulated.

3) There's another collector who did phone calls in which he played stuff. And - of course - people were recording that, too.

4) A combined effort of people that obtained material from #1 - 3, trying to obtain more from other individuals, preferably those who are not aware of #1 -3.

This is a little off topic, but has anyone else noticed that auto generated tracks for Seeing Voices and Days in Gloucestershire are on YouTube? Both tracks are credited to "Zona Instrumental", and the descriptions say that they were provided to YouTube by Believe SAS (whatever that is). They've been on YouTube since 2017, and I first noticed them several years back. How are unreleased Michael Jackson songs being auto generated by YouTube, and why are they credited to "Zona Instrumental"? Also, what is Believe SAS?

It's the same thing as leaks appearing on Spotify I think. Some kid will have tried his luck with DistroKid or similar, and in this case it worked - so they look like official tracks because they technically are.

It's a company that is handling DRM for international companies like Sony Music. I guess these two entries are the result of these songs being in their database exchange they are providing to Google to secure royalties (even for unpublished but copyright registered work). Unlike many other songs that are being scanned for on youTube, these two entries are probably incorrectly flagged and shouldn't be public. Basically a confirmation MJ Estate are getting royalties for these two recordings from Google.

Prince's iCloud was hacked indeed. And yes, they are very naive regarding the use of internet services plus some fans they have come in touch with. Since Sundberg has been doing the seminars, a few individuals have aimed for finding a way to get access to their stuff. You gotta imagine how often someone would try to smuggle in some device to either record audio or directly access the speakers' feed or HDMI cable - whatever. If they knew the location or people organizing an event, there would be ways...

I guess MJ's B-Team also did not hide info about their Apple accounts - especially in the "VIP meetings" - so a few individuals could target them specifially online once they realized they stored this kind of material there.

I never even thought of the speaker feed. Also, since MP's iCloud was hacked, that just made me realized just how much material COULD be out there.

Do you happen to know if MP is taking legal action? It's a huge deal, something like this, involving stolen personal data and cloud accounts deserves legal consequences.

I honestly feel bad for MP. Of course we would all love to hear those tracks, but the way they were obtained is sad. With Sundberg it was a bit different, he apparently didn't take legal action against Lord Jackson because, as Bill Bottrell mentioned on X, Brad himself didn't handle things too seriously either, pulling sessions material from various studio lockers.

So those are all songs that are circulating currently? Gotta say the only song there that interests me is "The Choice", "Choice" was completely unheard of prior to the first laptop leak so anything we learn about it is gonna be surprising, even if the song happens to be an instrumental groove.
eeehhh…false

The tracker used to say if songs were in collectors hands or not, and whether if they were circulating among them (as in they were being shared), but they removed that when they switched to the Kanye West style spreadsheet

dead on, its horrifying that these collectors have gone to use services of such exclusive items without actually understanding the risks of using them. I hope people have notified them to ensure they dont upload anything more.

If this is really the case (I'd love to see some kind of source for the hacking theories, even though they make sense as there'sno way BB or MP would sell anythinf), then wouldn't also "Craze" potentially be there?

2:43:55 MP looks at some of the songs he has and mentions "Craze" after Monster.

The source is the fact that these guys have the original files. No other way for that to happen.

I can’t help but wonder if that was the same person who hacked my account and posted those false statements.

It’s strange — the person who supposedly did this was showing his files to a group of kids in a Discord VC back in 2023.

Even more suspicious, that same person was the first to reply to the thread that was opened using my account — and they rarely visit the forum, yet happened to be there the exact moment “I” made that apology thread.

I’m not naming anyone since I can’t confirm it’s true, but honestly… it would make sense.

Also… since I don’t want anyone to be disappointed but „the choice“ is not a new track. It indeed is not even unheard.

I know who you're talking about, and yeah, I also always found his behavior pretty weird, not to mention insanely elitist, so honestly… good riddance!

That said, despite all his oddness, he did seem like the kind of person who at least respected the collaborators, not naming them or anything, but who knows. There are so many shady figures in the community who could pull something like this off. Lord Jackson, for instance, is exactly the type who'd do anything to get his hands on some unreleased material.

Years ago there were even some pseudo-collectors on another forum who hacked into other members PCs just because there were fellow collectors in the chat. Really sad stuff.

I first though Lord hacked my account because the one who hacked me changed my profile pic and the picture that person used was posted a lot from Lord.
