Aaron Carter Claims MJ Gave Him Drugs *Update Post 41* Merged

OK Lied: Aaron Carter NEVER Said Michael Jackson Gave Him Cocaine, Alcohol

Over night, the internet exploded with the news that former teen idol Aaron Carter said (in a new interview with OK Magazine) that Michael Jackson had once given him cocaine and booze -- all when he was only fifteen years old.

Yet today, the audio of Daphne Barak's interview with Carter was posted online -- revealing that Carter said no such thing.

From a transcript of the audio, Carter instead told tabloid-journalist Daphne Barak that he once attended a party at Neverland with his older brother Nick, actor Chris Tucker, and many other guests. During the party, Carter witnessed Jackson drinking alcohol. "It was fun," he said, "'cause I don't think Michael ever really got a chance to do stuff like that."

"Did you have a drink [at the party]?" Daphne asked.

"Yeah, a little," Carter replied.

When later questioned about Michael Jackson having an alleged addiction to prescription drugs, Carter plainly stated: "I personally didn't see any drug addiction issues [with Michael]."

"I mean, there was definitely things that were just different, you know, weird," he said of the singer's behavior, before again conceding that "the time that I spent with him, yes, he was fine."

The interview ended with Aaron playing a Michael Jackson song on piano, as a tribute. "I wanted to express a message to him so that he could hear it," the singer said. "I want to protect his legacy. It's funny because a lot of the things that Michael did that I want to do."

There you have it. No cocaine. And no adult purposefully supplying a minor with alcohol. So how did this massive twisting-of-words come about? The answer may lie with the article's author. . . .

Tabloid-contributor Daphne Barak, you may recall, interviewed Michael Jackson's former nanny, Grace Rwaramba, shortly after the King of Pop's death in 2009. In video footage of the interview, Rwaramba expressed her frustration over being fired by Jackson's team -- understandable and in no way controversial. Yet Barak's later publication of the interview suddenly had Grace the Nanny claiming that she had pumped her former employer's stomach for drugs, several times!

Rwaramba quickly fired back: "I am shocked, hurt and deeply saddened by recent statements the press has attributed to me. [...] The statements attributed to me confirm the worst in human tendencies to sensationalize tragedy and smear reputations for profit."

"I don't even know how to pump a stomach!!" she added.

The former-nanny's close friend, Mallika Chopra (daughter of Deepak Chopa), even took to the blog-o-sphere, defending Rwaramba and explaining the full situation of how "so-called journalist" Daphne Barak had acted as a confidant, baited for information, and then manipulated it for her subsequent article.

Is this what happened with Aaron Carter's comments about Michael Jackson, then? We'll just have to wait and see, when an official response from Carter and/or his PR team pops up. . . .

UPDATE: Frank Cascio (who attended the same party at Neverland with Aaron Carter) just Tweeted his two cents: "I knew Michael for over 25 year and NEVER once did he use cocaine or suggest to anyone else to use cocaine. Never!!!!"

I don't know, this is a good site, has many readers?
Are there any other sites wich tell the truth?

This is getting really effed up
EOnline is repeating the story also and out context to make it worse if that even possible
http://www.eonline.com/videos/v166154_aaron-carter-jackson-gave-me-drugs.html

CBS news is also reporting it -It is reaching mainstream media

Aaron Carter better come forward soon and make a statement
I believe he did make incriminationg stories about MJ. That video of Aaron on Daphne
site of him was bad enough and threw shade on MJ stating he did drink in his presence
and MJ could of snuck in BR to snort cocaine. ($ DIRT $)

Listen wihout dirt on MJ there was NO story for Aaron...
You can belive it was part of the agreement that he dish dirt

and unless Aaron comes forward and states different he is a MJ backstabber and will not get any
slack for the MJ community _ This is HIS responsibility and HIS doing and he better fix it NOW

Please DONT defend Aaron Carter is allowing this to happen and go on _ That is Dispicable

Thank you!! These people defending him were pissing me off!! Even Rodney Jerkins basically called him a liar...and he was THERE!

I can't believe how easily "reputable" news sources pick up tabloid stories and present them as fact. It's worrying.

This too shall pass... I guess

Reputable news? They are all the same, and they all cut and paste, we should know this already.

Yes, this is probably our answer about how can we defend MJ.

We shouldn't blame a person (AC) because that's not going anywhere,
we should blame an enterprise, (OK magazine) that's how it's done.
MJ is not here to defend himself but we are.

OK magazine could have even worse reputation if WE put in campaign to do that. And I think we can do it.

YES, we should blame Aaron Carter, had he not given or said anything, Daphne would have had NOTHING to write!! He got paid to make these claims, or elsewise she wouldn't have interviewed him...

I agree he is responsible. Surely he realizes how damaging to Michael's legacy this article is and yet he has not made any attempt to stop the publication or deny it. So until he does something, he gets blamed.

OH Michael, I love you so much :cry::cry:

Bottom line is Aaron Carter himself needs to come forward
and clarify this story. This is HIS repsonsibility to do that. NO one elses
He is the one allowing MJ to be thrown under the Bus >> YES

Now that article proves nothing because they edited the original transcript
and didnt post all Aaron stated in that video. plus the vid is very cut and edited
and doesnt start at the beginning so it proves nothing. It doesnt prove OK lied

ONLY Aaron can make this right and untill he does he is a back stabber in my book.
for allowing this to continue ... he doest retract so in my book he standing by the story

I agree - Aaron needs to tell the truth, not just ignore the questions.

Remember the interview that this woman did with Grace? Only a small part of the interview was released on video. Grace didn't really say anything controversial in that video. Then the reporter made those crazy "stomach-pumping" claims in the article. If Grace really had sad that, why not release the video recording of that??? It's the same with this interview - we see a video of Aaron saying that Michael drank in front of him. (An adult drinking in front of a teenager or child isn't shocking - I don't know why he acted so dramatic about it). If Aaron really said that Michael gave him alcohol and cocaine, why not release the video of that?

The interview came from Daphne Barak's own website:

http://daphnebarak.homestead.com/AaronCarterMichaelJacksonTributeVideoClip.html

How comes 3T are so silent? When it comes to Sony they're on twitter day and night, now? Nothing. What about Randy Jackson? He's got something planned for Saturday, how about speaking out now?

Yet it's Frank Cascio, who they trashed last year, who has given the most concise response yet.

If I were in that family I'd be retweeting the mess out of that response and adding my own.

Anthony Jackson, Michael's cousin did tweet this though:
ATONCLASSIC ANTHONY JACKSON
These people shouldn't be able to get away with their B.S.

ATONCLASSIC ANTHONY JACKSON
"When in doubt listen to your heart instead of what people say" #MichaeLegacy

Which at least shows he's paying attention...

Personally, I don't get this. Why would an author write a story like that and then post an (edited) interview video on their website that is contradicting what they themselves wrote? It doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I hope Aaron says something about this mess if he was really misquoted. He's the only person who can fix it.

I have to say i feel bad now, that bitch pulled a Bashir on me and i did not see anything. Aaron should definitely say something but maybe he did not deserve all the insults. *Thinking of Tabloid Junkie's chorus*

the problem is the fans first found out about this story about two weeks ago and started tweeting Carter to get his attention. And Instead of denying it or at least commenting somehow he just blocked those who tweeted him. So it's not like he doesn't know what is going on. He is completely aware. And yet he keeps silence. In Russia we have a saying that silence means consent.

If one more person on here acts like Aaron Carter isn't to blame for this bs, I'm going to scream!!! If someone claimed I said some shit like this, the first time I heard it, I would have filed suit, and let it be known that something as serious as that, is a LIE. This guy did this shit to get his name back in the news, at MJ's expense and it worked, so some of you fans, please spare me the bullshit!! I'm sorry if that's harsh, but I'm tired of seeing some of MJ's fans folding like cheap suits, and then looking like a fool, if this dumbass actually admits or the video shows up of him saying it...this is Michael's legacy we're talking about, I can give two shits about an Aaron Carter!!

BTW: What exactly is and "Aaron Carter"? Exactly-NOTHING!

What absolutely disgusting and vile behaviour from the media. These are one of the very few times that I Thank God that Michael is resting peacefully somewhere with the angels up above and don't have to see any of this horrendous behaviour by morons.

Scream or be tired all u want sweetheart but do not be disrespectful.

Chelsea said that how does Michael does cocaine w/o a nose, the audience clapped loudly. My younger sister and brother laughed (screw them!!!) One of those comedians said why now Aaron is claiming this story, why he didn't said this when Michael years ago. They dissed Aaron, too being a crackhead. And they talked about Mac saying that he does that famous face he did in the Home Alone series because of hanging out with Michael. And that's all I wanna say.

OMG Chelsea lately is trending now on twitter.

I don't folow her, I don't wanna know what it's all abut.

I used to hate the character of Rita Skeeter in the Harry Potter books, but Daphne Barak makes her look like a sweetheart.

Here is an example
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0330373/quotes?qt=qt0400860
Rita Skeeter: So tell me, Harry. Here you sit, a mere boy of 12...
Harry: - I'm 14...
Rita Skeeter: - about to compete against three students who are not only vastly more emotionally mature than yourself, but who've mastered spells that you wouldn't attempt in your dizziest daydreams. Concerned?
Harry: I dunno, I haven't really thought about it...
Rita Skeeter: Because you're no ordinary boy of 12 are you?
Harry: 14.
Rita Skeeter: Your story's legend. Do you think it was the trauma of your past that made you so keen to enter such a dangerous tournament?
Harry: No, I didn't enter.
Rita Skeeter: Of course you didn't.
[winks]
Rita Skeeter: Everyone loves a rebel, Harry. Speaking of your parents, were they alive, how do you think they'd feel? Proud? Or concerned that your attitude shows, at best, a pathological need for attention? The worst psychotic death wish.
[Harry glances at Rita's notes]
Harry: Hey, my eyes aren't glistening with the ghosts of my past!

i read a lot about this, because i can´t undertstand how Aaron can say something like that. He adores Michael! or I believed this
The real declarations are diferent but he might know the way to speak with press...

Daphne Barak, OK! magazine and Aaron Carter are all to blame equally.

But, the fact that Aaron was asked by fans what's up with this story weeks ago and he doesn't say it's all lies, is terrible. Even though the real video interview clealry says that he never saw Mj with drugs or take drugs, it's not enough because that's not being reported. People are lazy and won't even bother looking at that video. It's better if his ass makes a statement and hand feed those who won't do nothing to look up the truth. Just like the other media outlet's that are just copying and pasting this garbage!

I'm telling u some were just waiting to trash MJ. The fake mourning and the fake "we miss MJ, we love him" from many people including the media is over and was never genuine! We are right back to square one, just wait until the trial starts! And people think their isn't some type of conspiracy against this man Pff! Please even in death they fear his power and influence and would do anything to stop it even if he is not here! They are trying to re-write HIStory with Lies! But, we won't let that be!

SO GAME ON! >=(

Aaron Carter is not innocent in this. Last week, when asked about the story on Twitter, instead of defending himself and claiming he was misquoted, Aaron sent someone a direct message threatening to sue for harassment.

Bluetopez, how much true and sad that sounds I like to remain positive that Michael's legacy will prevail.

^And we shouldn't click even on one, and give them a single page hit.
