Starlight Children’s Foundation
http://www.starlight.org/
Serving more than 60 million children and their families since inception, Starlight is a global children’s charity that improves the life and health of kids and families. Through a continuum of support for children and their families—from the moment of diagnosis through the course of treatment, we offer educational programs that help sick children understand medical procedures, manage their illnesses and develop coping strategies; entertainment programs that boost spirits, reduce the need for pain medication, and provide distraction therapy; technology- and community-based programs that connect isolated, sick youth with their peers; and family events that allow sick children and their families to relax, have fun, and reconnect outside the hospital environment.

Make A Wish Foundation
http://www.wish.org/
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.

UNICEF
http://www.unicef.org/
UNICEF is the driving force that helps build a world where the rights of every child are realized. We have the global authority to influence decision-makers, and the variety of partners at grassroots level to turn the most innovative ideas into reality. That makes us unique among world organizations, and unique among those working with the young. We believe that nurturing and caring for children are the cornerstones of human progress. UNICEF was created with this purpose in mind – to work with others to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease and discrimination place in a child’s path. We believe that we can, together, advance the cause of humanity.
Kim (Windy09) will post a poll for us as soon as she gets in from work

Ivy and Rudolf please do a favor and post in the poll that you have voted and make a comment if you are inclined to do so. This was requested by Windy09 and will help motivate the legacy staff to get on board to do the same. - Thanks :)

Thank you all for voting. We just need to hear from the rest of the team and MJJC staff.

If you have voted, please post in this thread after voting. This will tell us that everyone has had their input. Thank you.

As you know we kind of nixed their last poll and I'm sure some feeling were hurt, ( and I can understand that) so we need to help let them know this is not a fail but just another route to get to what we all want for MJ and the board. I don't think any Legacy staff are in disagreement of the final charity. So I just want to get them exited about promoting it.

Once all are on board and place some input in there then Gaz can come in and commend them .. for their work etc etc
and they can proceed discussing plans for this charity project.
