You people are really starting to peev me off!

First of all; Boycotting the 'This is it' album is by far THE most DUMBEST idea I have ever heard!

Secondly; Your grudge with Sony has got to end! Did it ever occur to you that maybe Sony is trying to amend for their past mistakes against Michael? No, of course not. Your too busy thinking 'THEY IZ JUST MAKING MONEYZ!! SCREW DEM!! RAWR!'

Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but ya kinda have to pay for something you want. What, you thought they would give it to you for free? BZZT!! WRONG!! Sorry, but nothing in this world is for free! The world is cruel that way, get used to it!

and besides, Sony isn't a focus of this movie and these albums. Now lets see, who was the focus again? Oh yeah! Michael Jackson!! Or were you so consumed by your hatred and stubborness that you forgot that?

I guess Michael's message of love and forgiveness seem to slip your minds. If his family are going to see this movie, then why can't you?!" Oh yeah...IT'S SONY!! THE DEVIL ITSELF! RAWR!!

As for me, I am not about to let this movie or album fail. I'm going to see the movie and buy the album. Why? Because I love Michael. I honestly don't give a flying....duck...about Sony!! They ain't the focus here!!

P.S. Sorry if that sounded nasty...But you guys really ticked me off with your stupid boycott. Dumb idea is dumb.

I am not about to let this Album or Movie fail. It's gonna be a hit.

If people really are upset about Sony and will be boycotting because they hate Sony.... I really hope they don't buy materials released by thousands of artists under Sony.:agree:

I agree with this, i know that quite a few fans say that they hate Sony, yet own a PS/PS2/PS3, have Sony MP3 players/TVs/Cameras etc and buy music by other artists who are under Sony's name. Sony are HUGE; they are massively powerful in the entertainment industry and there's no getting away from them...so what's the point in putting your nose out of joint in order to 'make a stand' - it's not going to make any difference! If you want to see the film/buy the album then do!

Sheesh! :tease:

Well, you are right. I wasn't even thinking about the NON MUSIC stuff.

Yea.. agree!

People say they won't buy the TII album and then say.... "Oh, I'll just pirate it".

Finally....... i have been saying this for ages.

i'm also a vegitarian but i ain't forcing the rest of you to become one.

I agree. It is not about Sony it is about Michael..Why hurt Michael by boycotting The movie or CD? it just do not make sense..
If you love Michael then why do you want to rip the cd?

i am listening to Michaels poem Planet Earth for the umteenth time and i tell you i would pay all over again just to have this...

I must've missed something, whos asking you personally to boycott anything?

Fans have different opinions over TII/AEG/Sony. Thats something you just have to accept. I personally will refrain from lining AEGs pockets as much as I can as I have big concerns about their relationship and treatment of Michael. I care too much about him and the pursuit of truth over his death right now. I understand that the truth hurts a lot of fans, I can accept that and if buying up every MJ memorabilia/album release helps to dull the pain then I can understand that too.

Its personal choice at the end of the day. I wont rant at you for your choices, so I think you need to get off your high horse and let others express their views in a respectful way, even if its not what you agree with.

Get off my high horse? Why don't you tell that to the people who are boycotting the movie and the album!! The movie and the album will be part of Michael's legacy! and these idiots want to stop it?! Not exactly MJ fans in my opinion. So don't come in here and tell me to get off my high horse. If they don't want to see the movie or buy the album, then fine. But boycotting them is the DUMBEST idea in the world!

No, the people who are boycotting the movie are not trying to stop its release, nor are they asking fans not to support. They are simply asking questions of the version of events the film will portray. Perhaps dig a little deeper and dont make assumptions of them cause thats what you seem to be doing. To say they are idiots is juvenile, especially when you are not actually understanding their position or what they are trying to say.

Michaels legacy isnt about to be damaged, far from it. His place in history was well and truly established the moment he passed, sadly. It belongs to him, not to Sony, not to AEG or anyone else who wants to profit from Michaels death. Until some real answers emerge over Michaels death I expect that some fans wont support any releases, I understand that and I wont go hurling insults at them because of how they feel about it.

I agree with you. Boycotting it is not smart. Something is that you are not willing to buy it, another different one is if you are convincing others to do the same. I respect those who don´t want to buy it, anybody has to do it, but it´s not fair not to support. It´s about Michael´s name, if the selling goes bad, the only one that will be badmouthed will be MJ, and do we, as fans, want to deal with it? As someone has already said, you only are not supposed to support it if you don´t have mp3 players, TV´s, cameras and all these stuff made by Sony. As if boycotting the CD you are boycotting sony... It won´t make any difference for them, while on the other hand will be deeply damaging MJ´s legacy.

Also: his value is already recognized, but what about that fans who are still to come? Just because he has already left a legacy, his image from now on doesn´t matter anymore?

I have had it with the negativity and the constant whining about every damn thing enough already!

:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

agreed!......
you're SO right.
if you're boycotting the album
that means you're trying to stop michaek's legacy!.....WAKE UP people!!

If Michael was with any other Music Label, they would probably do the same thing as Sony did (referring to the This Is It CD).

As for the Tommy Mottola thing......there are probably people like him in other music labels. Michael was just a very unlucky person.

And I am sure that it was the estate that chose the song for the Album.
