A bunch of ppl came in spamming the board making all kinds of crazy threads.. I think the name of one of them was "Did Michael turn himself into a parakeet" or something like that. There were even a few W**ko J**ko references I think. It wasn't pretty. :( The mods deleted them before it got too out of hand tho. But that's the reason for the ban on new members.

**** the end of that VF article. I swear after reading all that precious Michael goodness that last footnote at the end KILLED me. I wanted to throw that damn magainze across the train car. I really was about to start crying but I sooo didn't wanna do that in public.

Lemme type it out for you...

Epilogue: When I was writing the Motown oral history for VF last year, Jermaine wanted the brothers to be a part of it. Annie Leibovitz and I didn't want to photograph or interview the brothers without Michael. We got a message from Jermaine that we needed to contact Michael's spokesman, Dr. Tohme Tohme, who had only a P.O.-box address somewhere in California. I wrote a letter requesting Michael's participation. We never heard back.

I was so angry reading that.
