God forbid, but do you think it's likely that the biopic will lead to a massive increase of new Jehovah's Witnesses?

What an interesting thought! It’s strange imo to join a religion just because a celebrity you like was in it at one point though, but who knows

When South Park's God said that the only true valid religion to enter paradise was "the book of Mormons" I don't think there were many conversions following the episode.

I expect religion not to be part of the movie, or in a very minor way, and I don't feel like what we ever hear of Jehovah Witnesses in Michael's life has any appeal towards conversion.
I said I expect religion not to be part of the biopic, but I don't exclude hearing Michael say something that relates to God in a broad sense. Though I would expect this more if the biopic covered the 90s and onwards than the 80s.

But not unusual. There are young people who get so obsessed with their idol they will do anything they do and say, including their life styles

It's gonna be in there for sure, Branca would never forget to include his one true heroic act: hiding the Thriller video tapes when Michael told him to destroy them after a conversation with the Jehovah's Witnesses. We may joke about Branca putting himself in too many scenes and making himself more important than he was, but that might be the one scene that should actually be in there.

Yeah so, it's still possible that that religion show in minor and unappealing way (if the point is that had to hide the Thriller tape).
