Knowing that how some people would be interested in above, I'll provide brief details below:
Bodyguards mention that Michael did not want to see his family - his orders. The only person he would see and could come unannounced was Katherine.
not really wanting to work with Sony and on Thriller 25. There's a story about Michael breaking Sony headphones. They say he didn't work on Thriller 25 with enthusiasm and did everything the last minute.
^^Thanks Ivy Do you think that conversational way in which they wrote the book would cause more people to buy it. It does sound like the type of book you can curl up on a couch and read in comfort.
Did a famous person or friend of Michaels's write the foreword or introduction?
When you got your advance copy, did you get information about any appearances on tv.
Are there more funny stories?
It's interesting the publisher sent the book copies to the fans. Do publishers finally realize that without fans support books about Michael Jackson simply don't sell?

Yes...that is exactly what I was thinking as well. Wish we knew who she was.....then again the poor girl would probably be harassed by fans...so better she stays anonymous.. Imo^^Don't you think "friend" was Michael's Middle Eastern girlfriend Paris mentioned? Freaking lucky indeed! :girl_tantrum:
I personally detest pornography. Like MJ would say about tabloids, "we should take all of it and set fire to it and make a bonfire!"
It also certainly clashes with the image of a very naive, very pure, very sex-shy MJ, that he himself liked to project to his fans. Like when he would refuse to even say the F-word, "because that's so bad". Turns out he wasn't so angelic...
ivy;3973301 said:Michael goes to Walmart incognito when he was staying in Virginia. They get suspicious as his face was covered, cops were called and people were curious who that person is. Bodyguards say "It's Prince" to the cops and people around and they leave. Michael asks them what happened when they are in the car and they say we told that you were Prince. Michael laughs and say “No wonder they left us alone.”
I hope what happened to Randall was a good learning experience, since the publisher did say he expected the book to go straight to a bestseller. I see a lot of authors reach out to fans about their books like Zack. I think we all heard the nose and surgery stories before and are looking for something different.
I hope it wasn't Liz, I'd feel disappointed but I know people have told stories of them keeping in touch even though they didn't/couldn't see each other. It was comforting tata Madiba remained friends with Michael and even if there were few people reaching out, I'm greatful they didn't leave him.
When I first heard about this book I wasn't interested. But now reading the summary I want to get and support it.
I usually don't get books like these. I have gotten Joe Vogel, Michael Bush and Aphrodite Jones and Michael's books. I just want to know Michael the person. I don't need to know really private things and guess why he did things. Some people guess or were never around him. It's nice to see something like this get published and if it really is positive then I hope it does really well. I can tell that people still want to bring Michael down and be negative yet there are people willing to stand up for him when people would say they don't need to.
Do you mean Liz as Liz Taylor?
Liz T was very much on Michael's side
