Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

Dan Reed has nothing.

He knows that Robson and Safechuck's credibility is being routinely shot day by day, which is why he seldom lets them do an interview alone, why he frequently speaks for them, and why he's yet to directly address any of the numerous criticisms and accusations we've made.

Honestly, the film has been a DUD. I will be watching Part 2 shortly (it's floating around online as it was already streamed through HBO Premium). Here are some materials...

Here are all of the "Love Faxes" that MJ sent to Wade and Joy... Some were just MJ testing out his new fax machine and figuring out how to use it lol. Others were CLEARLY in response to Joy/Wade's own faxes to him. One in particular seems specifically like Joy had already approached MJ about struggling financially, to which MJ wrote back: "Joy, I got your fax, I'm going to sleep now. I just wanted to say IF you need financial assistance don't hesitate to ask me, I'm your friend, Love Doo Doo Head."

Joy said he would talk for hours and hours to HER on the phone, just as we know he did with other females over his lifetime. MJ really was cripplingly lonely his entire adult life. In one fax he writes: "Yesterday I felt like walking the streets alone begging someone to talk to me. The agony of my lonliness really hurts sometimes. Love Apple Head." With a drawing of a crying smiley :(

Michael was the most generous and caring person always offering to support others with whatever he could. This is how his LIFELONG friends pay him back to make a quick buck. Grr.

And the transcript of Safechuck's cassette tape interview of MJ when they were on a plane from Hawaii. Note that it has obviously been cut and edited down from the original, yet also shows that even in their edit/splicing attempt they still couldn't find a single thing to make MJ seem sinister at all.

Wendy Williams has blasted the documentary as well today. "I don't believe a word in this documentary."

I said this in that tweet there as well but i hope that Dan Reed keeps this up. Let him keep running his mouth with utterly hilarious comparisons. MJ to Hitler and we the fans are ISIS, gotcha. Oh man how I am praying really that all this backfires on all three of them!

"Well, I have been making documentaries for 30 years. I don't pitch up and take everyone at face value. You have to remain skeptical while listening very careful to what people have to say. And once I'd interviewed Wade and James, which I did at great length, I then went and tried to find anything in the record, in the investigations of 1993, 2003 to 2005, anything that would contradict or undermine one of their stories and I couldn't find anything."

I personally think Wade got depressed after Michaels death because he looked up to him his whole life. He wanted to impress Michael his whole life. He said it motivated him. With Michael gone, there was never going to be a reunion or anything together. Nothing. I think that took the passion out of for wade.

Then he is at the end and does this because he is desperate financially. It's like he had nothing to look forward to after 2009.
 
Some friggin dude I put soundly in place after the trailer aired, now came back and asked me "Have you seen the movie yet",and I firmly put him back into place again with a long rant :) The dude thought I was going to flip side after watching the movie....

In Norway Nrk has decided to not play MJ for 2 weeks while this is going in. They are saying that they want to wait and see the public reaction after they air the doc before they make a final descision. Theyr'e getting criticism for that by other journalists and other newspapers. There was a short news segment probably around ten minutes where the editor in charge of nrk music I think , was getting heat from another radio hostm. The other guy was totally against the muting and he came across with valid points and argumented with the fact that MJ never was found guilty of anything and asked who should decid the muting and what artist would be next etc.

Some of the debate here is now wether it is right to mute MJ based on just allegations. NRK is playing the judge and the excecutor my showing the doc but not playing his music on their radio. And they are being called out for this by other papers aswell. They have been accused of doing this to promote the doc for ratings.

Overall a quit storm. But people DO ask questions and the muting of MJ wont be easy not here in Norway at least thats my impression for now.
 
So who is that guy with 100k followers who said Wade told him he was offered $$ to do this 10 years ago.....

Watch. That is huge and it will not gain any press whatsoever.
 
TMZ has an article about Oprah receiving a lot of hate.

I also see that TMZ doesn't have a direct article to this Doc, but they have ads about it between pretty much every story.

I am a positive person, but I cannot see anything turning around people who already had a negative mindset.

Its not an exaggeration to say this could only happen to MJ.
Of course his music shouldn't be pulled,especially when he has never been found to have done anything.

People continue to watch Kevn Spacey,Roman Polanski and Harvey Weinstein movies.

It just proves the bigger picture that Michael Jackson had to put up with this kinda crap all the time.

I know Wade from the dance industry and he's a known liar lol and it's funny how he would try to cash in this way, when his reputation with young girls at dance conventions isn't the greatest and is known as Uncle Pervy lol Believe what you want though.

I had a woman on Twitter try to back out of an argument by calling me a ****ing moron, and then bragged that she was working toward her PhD. 😂 Cant make some of this stuff up
 
I bet that stuff wasn't real that was burned lol.

I watched this thing more to see a lot of footage that's never been showed. Don't believe any of it.

He didn't burn the valuable stuff. He sold all that stuff at auction before-hand. Wade is all about the money, he's not gonna see all that go up in flames.
 
Wendy Williams still believes MJ showered and slept in same bed with boys.
How can you say this is good?

"I don’t believe a word of anything in this documentary," she told the audience. "Michael is no innocent, but that’s not him."
 
that 2012 clip of Robson dancing to unbreakable, does anyone know what dance class, what date that was on?

It seems to be the same month as his 'breakdown' in march.. I would like to find footage that is for sure after the breakdown, him dancing to Michael
