Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

The fact that they are selling LN Soundtrack speaks volumes. I dont think Surviving R Kelly did that? Anything for $$ with these two frauds. "Why work when you can sue MJ?" Couldnt be more true.

this makes them look bad. it is very clear this is a money making scheme. They are NOT hurting MJ. They are hurting themselves in the end.
It should be very clear to any rational person that this is not credible and a lot of it just not possible. Am I the only one thinking about that crazy EVANstory lawsuit regarding the soundtrack. I canceld my Netflix subscription but it was not on in Sweden then I canceld it, This is it was on.

Like I said, that will hurt them. It wont hurt MJ. They are only confirming what we,Jacksons, etc have been saying. Who does something like? No one. Its bad enuf their lies are being reveal and this only makes it worst. Also, "what Gardner school did was eye opening and let us know people like parents can see truth instead of media mob/sensationalism when it comes to Michael". A local DJ said this today. SO TRUE.

Hi again, #MJFam:

As many of you know, Gardner Elementary School held a vote earlier this week allowing parents to determine whether or not to keep Michael’s name on the Michael Jackson Auditorium. And the decision was yes - the name stays. Here’s a link to the story in the Los Angeles Times reporting on the vote: https://www.latimes.com/…/la-me-edu-michael-jackson-auditor…

Howard Blume, the author of this story, tweeted out yesterday asking for reactions to this news (https://twitter.com/howardblume). For anyone that wants to share their reactions, Howard’s email is howard.blume@latimes.com

The Estate has asked us to thank Jennifer Marino and all of the fans who came out in support of Michael and keeping his name visible on the auditorium.

Best,
Alicia

The huge thing with LN seames to really dies down now.
Less and less videos appear on YouTube to this supject every day since the last two weeks.
It gets really hard to find a good one to share here because selection gets smaller and smaller.
(I hope that this did not mean that many people did stop to investigate the mokeymentary.)

I know that the media trys despretly to keep this subject alive and sell stories in offering people money (I think this was the case with the two people who worked on the MJ musical and others) but it is not really sucessful!

We will have another smear campaign in June around his death anniversary. BBC is working on a documentary by a tabloid reporter so expect another smear campaign by them also. Do not forget that David Geffen will make sure LN is nominated for every award possible and may very likely win some prestigious awards if Reed' credibility is not challenged. I do not trust Taj can do anything efficient
Only the estate has the means to counter attack effectively but I do not believe they want to do so for fear of upsetting Warner Time most probably one of the biggest clients of the law firm where Branca is an equity partner.

The estate won't do anything they will continue to bury their head in the sand and act like everything is fine especially with the result of the Gardner school voting. The strategy is to keep fighting Wade and Safe chuck in court and count on the status of limitation argument. We all know the lawsuits will be dismissed. As for the HBO lawsuit, it won't go anywhere when things get serious Branca will use it to strike deals for his own personal gains.

Thats why we continue to debunk and exposing LN as best as we can.

One of the strongest parts of LN besides the graphic details for me is the many picture and videomatirial they are showing from Michael and James.
It would be great to find out from where and when they are.

https://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/...o-footage-which-was-used-in-Leaving-Neverland

I could already figure out many things and that they use the matirial in the wrong context for which they semed to not have the copy rights.
But I need help.

I got the impression that Reed copied nearly everthing he used in LN besides the private family footage and the interviews from YouTube videos without permission from the original copyright owners.
Most of the pictures with MJ and James are Bad Tour Backstage picture before or after a concert.
There are hundreds of Bad Tour Backstsge pictues with Michael online.
So it is NOTHING really special on this pictures.
I guess most of the staff members which were with Michael on Stage on the Bad Tour can show simular Backstage pictures with MJ and celebreties.

Great! I'm gonna go on the "Facebook" page to show support. Thanks for posting.

Dan Reed is silent this days.
Probably, he's searching about the train station story.

Great. All the calls I heard even many of crew are HAPPY his name is still there and it should not be bothered. :sarmoti
It's great news, but isn't it strange they still want opinions after the vote is closed, like someone in control doesn't want to accept the result (or am I being paranoid already)? Anyway, it's good it turned out in favour of MJ.

It's ironic how the media tries to push and "protect" Oprah by giving her positive PR but she mostly receives criticism from the public, while the same media wants to mute MJ just to find out the majority of the general public doesn't want that at all.

Perhaps. Silence from Dan and co makes me uneasy tbh. I don't think they're going to fade into the background anytime soon. I think they're always up to something.

He is preparing his acceptance speeches for the awards he is going to get for this farce. It is not going to end anytime soon.

There are buissness resons behind it.

Tom Messerau nailed it when he said in John Ziegler Interview that the media nowadays is a buissness!
They are also under control qnd influence from a few powerful companys and people.
When you got that and have and you view the things from this point of view, it will understand many things what they are doing better.
Michael Jackson was always a easy moneymachine for the media because of his huge fame and the huge intererst of millions of people all over the world in reading and hearing things about him.
After his death he is totally unprotected and they can say and whrite everthing they want about him what gave them even more possibilitys to sell stories and newspapers!

The media invent and lie all the time for many years. But the people did not really care about this and mostly trust and belive them.

But in the case of Michael Jackson and LN they maybe never had harder Job, in convincing people about THEIR truth they wated to sell.
Cause with Michael Jackson they have choose now a target (maybe tho only possible one) millions of people care about A LOT compare to other things cause they love him!

Thank Goodness for social Media. They were talking about Oprah just morning and her latest interview. And yes, they talked about her LN. She is catching it still and people are not letting it go. She seem to be trying to "twist" the reason she did it. Give it up Oprah. Again, you did NOT dwell on Harvey Weinstein YET you dwelled on MJ in front of suppose to be victims-this is where she messed up and then to tell people it is time to let MJ go. BOOM! And now all the LIES these guys told (which was already there to see if she would have done research like she was suppose to). She messed up big time and she know it.

Oprah played herself!!! Although she will never admit it, SHE KNOWS IT.

Her Hollywood Reporter P.R. stunt ain't working in "some" circles either.

The Urban/Black Community is STILL going hard against her. Their opinions remain the same, i.e. #OprahIsCancelled! AND, "What about your friend Harvey Weinstein?" Folks ain't as stupid as she thought!!!

The media and the Hollywood elites are the ones who continue to prop her up, in my opinion. Certainly not the regular folks from "around the way."

Remember how she ran to Georgia, trying to help Stacey Abrams' get elected. Thinking that her presence would help Stacey become Governor. Well, we all saw how that worked out. IT DIDN'T WORK OUT!!!!!!!

Hi everyone I’m not sure I’m posting this in the right place. I didn’t know much about the allegations until watching Leaving Neverland and I've now been reading quite a bit about it. I’m having a hard time knowing what to believe. One moment I am feeling he is innocent and then days later I am swayed the other way.

I don’t believe the men in the documentary but I am worried about the other boys. I can put a lot down to greedy money grabs but there are those that are quiet that bother me. For example why did MJ have a photo of naked Jonathan Spence? One moment I think all allegations were a money grab and hate and then I step back and it doesn’t look good spending so much time with young boys and having this photo.

I would like to believe he is innocent. I didn’t get to see MJ live but I have listened to his music all my life and have a lot of fond memories from dance school performing his routines. On the other hand I just want to know the truth even if it turns out to be not what I want to hear. I’m tired of trying to figure it all out.

Does anyone have any thoughts about the photo? How do you rationalise the overall pattern of behaviour?

Boy George (Culture Club signer) seems to defend MJ during a recent interview while talking about Leaving Neverland.

https://toofab.com/2019/05/01/boy-george-leaving-neverland-wwhl-andy-cohen-michael-jackson/

WELL. WELL. WELL. That was a pretty decent article. Thanks for posting!!!!

George has a problem with the word "alleged" not being used, the fact that there is no input from the OTHER side and the fact that MJ is not here to defend himself. Very valid points and points that I have seen being discussed all over Social Media.

I'm very happy to see that Boy George didn't just jump in and automatically believe the liars and therefor has his own problems with the mockumentary.

Oh and I also find the words: "...BUT WITHOUT PROPER JOURNALISTIC DUE DILIGENCE," very refreshing. The operative words being: DUE DILIGENCE!!!!!!!

The video of the interview makes it clear he does not believe them but chose his words very carefully so the me too witches do not go after him.
