So, did Michael actually have a double that he would send to places he wouldn't be able to make? It's just sometimes hard to tell after he's changed something.

From what I understand Michael used a impersonator as a decoy so Michael could actually get away while everyone would think the impersonator is Michael himself. Theres a video bout this somewhere.
