I do think it’s a better song. The beat is great and MJ is kind of hypnotic in his part. I thought LNFSG was a bit over produced and they raised the tempo too much. JT really doesn’t do it for me either his time is long past. The charts will prove me right wait and see.

I personally think the estate is missing the momentum here. The song was released on Friday and here we are on Tuesday with zero acknowledgement, zero statement, nothing. The success of the single is going to start dwindling without any video, promotion, acknowledgment from either Drake or the estate. All Im saying is, now is the time to use this organic success the single has already gathered and build on that. If they keep waiting, they are going to miss the window.

Looks like a debut at number 2! Incredible. If the charts didn't have all the stupid rules, Drake x MJ would have been number one, despite the fact it wasn't released as a single, it's the debut, it's had barely any radio airplay and there's no video.

Exactly! I think the song itself is actually good. And it‘s nice to hear Michael again. But I disagree with everyone who is saying his vocals are the highlight of the song. Any other singer could have done it too. His vocals are not very powerful and sounds like the are from a one try demo recording. Again I like the song, and I like that MJ is on it! Because I didn‘t hear anything about the track before I wasn‘t disappointed of it. But definitely not Michael‘s best vocal delivery

But right now it‘s the song I listen to the most! And I really wish there will happen more like this in the future! Perfect way to make something out of unfinished demos. And I‘m sure Michael has more vocals out there that could be used. So thank you drake for doing it!!!

And one last comment to the song Don‘t matter to me. I really like what the producers did. I think they made the best out of the vocals and they fit the production so well. Really good job by drake. Just imagine what he could have done if he had some other vocals that are better than these

This is actually something I have thought about. Has the world moved on from the powerful, gritty, raw vocal approach to a more smoother delivery ala The Weekend, Justin Timberlake etc etc

Let's just acknowledge that Drake is arguably the biggest recording artist in the world right now in terms of commercial viability (you could make an argument for Adele, but she's currently inactive), and the most popular song on his album is the one featuring Michael Jackson.
