Sorry I'm posting this here but I couldn't find the previous thread to merge.
ITV referred to Tiger Woods as 'the next ****o *****'. This is the e-mail I have sent them.
Their address is viewerservices@itv.com in case someone else wishes to report.
Dear Sirs,
I was shocked and appauled to hear hear Tiger Woods referred to as 'some sort of ****o *****' on the 10 o'clock news on thursday 10th December. In light of the recent death of Michael Jackson and the fact that millions of people are struggling to cope with it, including his family and children, I feel that this is extremly insensitive and disrespectful to the legendary artist and unparalleled humanitarian who did so much for this world. The right thing for the media would be to restore his memory by denying all the distorted lies they published on him over the years, but if they can't, perhaps they can at least let him rest instead of opening up old wounds and targeting other celebrities such as Tiger Woods. I certainly didn't expect this from ITV news and I am extremley disappointed.
You are kindly requested to demonstrate the appropriate respect and decency.
Thank you for your consideration.
