exactly.. this whole story is made up .. and source like Extra are copying it from the tabloid writings of the NY Post .. that 1st printed this :bs...

Bull. I do not believe it. I think, as usual, the NYP are making these things up. Even though MJ was not there, they could have still did a tribute to the man's CD. Paul MaCartney was not at the Grammys and yet a tribute to the Beatles were done. This is bull, but then again, MJ did not need and does not need the Shammys. They might have been the ones who spread the story to the NYP to make MJ look bad because their ratings was a effing joke! MJ's CD is doing pretty well, as far as we know in America and that is all that matters. Also, let's not forget, the producer of the Grammys said himself that MJ was not going to perform. I think what happened was that they really wanted MJ to perform and MJ simply did not feel like performing 25 year old songs on some award show that CONTINUES to snub his ass.
