Trying to reach Michael...I cant see him but I fee
Hi all,

I've been neglecting my duties for the past few days and sorry for that. It happened so suddenly that i didnt have time to alert anyone. i'll make up for it though. :)

One of my cousins that lives in Canada was killed last week.(Sorry for being blunt) :/ the police there dont know when but have her boyfriend in custody. :no:. He was very abusive towards her and only my sis and I knew about it. She contacted me about 7 months ago and asked me if I could help her out with something and she told me what had happened to her. Since i'm a social worker and had some contacts with DV shelters around my area (VA), I contacted some ppl. and found her a shelter near Ontario, but the last i heard from her, she did not arrive to the shelter and havent heard from her afterwards until I heard the news on Wed. night. My family and I took the first plane to canada in the morning and just got back 2 days ago. I havent been clear in the head for a few days now. It will take time but I'm felling better a bit but wont be back to my full self in a while.


I'll do Tomorrow's " Today in MJ HIStory" and the ones after that. I'll also do some histories for the dates i missed also.

I just cant comprehend how angry grieved and upset you must feel

I was angry, still am actually. But that wont get her back and the only thing i can do right now is help in her case with everything I have. I work at a Domestic violence shelter and I see these kinds of things all the time, where a woman goes back to her abuser and ends up badly hurt or even worse, dead. But its different when its family. Just being back to MJJC and y'all is helping a lot. :) Thankyou Mickie for your words. :)

Thankyou all for your kind words. I hope it will get better in time. Being here and doing the "MJ HIStory" threads is kind of therapeutic. The many time in my life i'm so thankful to have a place to vent and just be. :) I Thankyou for that. :)
