FIFA World Cup 2014

As one of many Spanish team's lovers I am very sad they are already out of the competition.... but as a football ( soccer's name in Europe)fan I still have some other teams to cheer for:)....
Yesterday's match Germany versus Ghana was splendid! I knew before how good were Germany but I fell in love in Ghana's team:)! I hope they can still go through and as it depends on a good Portugal's performance I'll be keeping fingers crossed for them tonight!:) (sorry the USA team fans :) )

They did! USA was up 2 to 1 until that last second goal. :soccer:
 
I have to admit that I was PROUD though yesterday about the win of Belgium :blush:
Man, that was an exciting and nerve racking match to watch. They scored the winning goal at the 89th minute :blink:

Football or soccer surely brings 'unison' in a family and in a country :blush:

I'm still sowwy for England :cry: but I HOPE it's a lesson learnt that they NEED English based players instead of 'foreign' star players. Well, they do for the World cup anyways :sigh:

I never watched football before... I feel it takes the edge of that bloody month June :smilerolleyes:

Hurray for every country that wins and 'better luck next time' for the ones that loses :cheeky:

Wow the Australian supporters are so loud at the world cup. You would think it was being played in Australia.

Though it's ridiculous how players just flop down in soccer. Like seriously dude you hardly got tapped

Does anyone here know, why The Dutch team had to play before Brazil? I know it doesn't make a difference, but that is just why I like to know.

Yes I am aware of that ;) it's just strange ..Brazil should have played before us as they also started ....ell I guess it's FIFA's decision for some kind of reason ;)

I really liked Croatia, you guys did a great job against Brazil. Too bad the referee was on their side, Neymar deserved the red card and the penalty didn't exist.

Indeed! If you were surprised, imagine how we are. The entire country collapsed after the match against Italy :D

The team did an amazing job on those three matches, of course, since we were already qualified to the next round, they throttled down a little bit against England.

Now we will play against Greece on Sunday, looking forward to another great match and hoping we can qualify to quarter finals.

Like the song of Ricky Martin, after Shakira and Beyonce it would be nice to have a male singer....Maybe more women will start to like watching Football :D

My Friend Sandra from Colombia must be thrilled, she lives here in Holland and will watch Holland - Mexico here with us :)
 
Too bad Portugal is out ....Ronaldo tried so hard ...must be frustrating for him.
