Can somebody explain, what did Michael mean, while he was using that word!? I searched the Internet, trying to find the definition, but it says, that fish is the offensive word for women usually used by trans or gay... But that doesn't make any sence! Why Michael would use that word. I'm so confused right now!
 
I'm not going to say that this is right about Michael but he could have read about them....There was a sort of an evangelical religious cult circa 1974 or so that used "Flirty Fishing" and (Esing) escort servicing as a way to ensnare males from outside their cult. The females were fisherwomen (fish) and used their sex appeal to proselytize for Jesus and get donations. In the bible Jesus used the words "fishers of men." It was grossly taken out of context Father David (Berg). The group was called The Children Of God. [Damn, this was weird in so many ways.] Lots of babies were born for the cult (thousands) as well as disease and AIDS.
If all that made sense to you, then men were nothing but bait being fly fished. No respect. This cult was all over the world.
 
I definitely associate this with the phrase "there's other fish in the sea." As in, there's a million "fish" for us all to choose from when it comes to dating/finding love/hooking up, etc. I have always assumed that was the root of him saying this 🤷‍♀️

Hahahaha if michael calls me a fish then i would call him a fisherr try to catch me with your fishing rod 🎣🤣🤣

So for me it's quite clear, "Fish" stands for an attractive woman you'd like to catch/to fish :D

OMG!! 😂😂😂😂 I’ve never heard that before!! 😂😂😂 And knowing Michael, you can be SURE those were subcategories or code names for different kind of ”fish”. 😂😂😂😂 I’m not sure if I would’ve wanted to have been a ”trout”. 😂😂😂 Trout dprsn’t sound that attractive. Red Snapper sounds like one would have personality!! 👍🏻😌😂😂😂😂 I always used to wonder what MJ meant when he wrote ”Stop fishing!” to Frank Cascio on the thank you notes on the Invincible album booklet. I mesn, I knew he for sure didn’t mean ACTUAL fishing…but wondered what it was. 😂😂 And then when someone mentioned the ”fish” thing, I was like ”Oh now I get it!!” 😂😂😂 There’s a video from a hotel lobby in Budapest (if I remember correctly) from the HIStory tour, where you can also hear MJ mentioning that there’s some ”good fish” but he’s trying not to look directly at the girls. 😂😂😂😂 Sneaky!! 😂😂😂 And before anyone starts judging him about using that term….let’s not forget that we ALL have our own inside jokes woth those closest to us where only they know the real meaning and sometimes you can’t even remember where something came from but you just started using it, most of the times just because it was really funny. Kust like nicknames…they can be the weirdest names that then just stick. I know I have nicknames where even my mom haf to think hard about where they actually really even cane from! 😂😂😂 I mean, we used to call my sister ”Miss Monday Morning”. I have NO CLUE why. To this day. 😂😂😂
