I just came across this exhibition announcement in Wedel. Sound interesting. If anyone went there, share your impressions please. I think we all need some good news these days...

Michael Jackson wurde vergöttert und verpönt. Damit ist er ein Phänomen der Moderne - ein Spiegel ihrer Sehnsüchte und ihrer Abgründe, ihrer Utopien und ihrer Widersprüche. Das Barlach Kunstmuseum Wedel hat zu diesem Phänomen jetzt eine Ausstellung eröffnet.

Würd ich mir gerne ansehen, aber nähe Hamburg ist halt ne halbe Weltreise für mich 🥲. Text liest sich ja vielversprechend... sind hier im Forum nicht auch Leute aus Hamburg und Berlin? Für die wäre es ja gut erreichbar 🧐.

So tickets for the biopic premiere on April10 in Berlin can be won in French or Austrian radio.

If anyone hears about any option to win or buy them in Germany or about the surrounding fan events, please post it 🙏

This is such late notice / tight planning and announcement. :-( Is it just me or is this the new norm? I feel like events, invitations, etc. are much less planned in advance these days. Even the general promo for the MICHAEL movie.

Yeah and I need to know because the damn Deutsche Bahn tickets are too expensive when you don't book weeks in advance 🫠
 
On filmstarts.de ithey name the start date 22.4. But very few places are even listed for the film to be screened:
In Kino International, a typical premiere cinema in Berlin, events are listed for all year but nothing on Michael.
I feel Promotion is very us- centered, with superbowl, marching bands, 1st day of black history month.
I haven't heard anything in Germany yet and you can't even find when actively searching...
