That's your opinion. You obviously have enough trust in Michael to create something like the original thriller or you wouldn't even be posting here. So why not have enough trust in him to bring together artists that will make good music today? Peronsally, Will.I.Am's versions of the songs are incredible, the vocal arrangement and the beats are on point. And this is the 25th year of thriller, the greatest selling album in the history of music. I would rerelease it if I was Mike too.

I didnt think it was gonna be this hard getting this CD!!
I've been to 5 different stores in 2 days.
One of the stores, Wal-Mart, only had the deluxe which I didnt want
since I have all those extras.
The other stores didnt have any at all.
Sold OUT!!:eek:Yay MJ!!^_^
Finally, today, I got the last copy of the regular one at BEST BUY!
It was unbelievable! I thought I was gonna break out in hives!!:lol:

I got a copy yesterday at Best Buy with the original album cover and ordered the deluxe hardbook edition from Amazon today. :D
 
I GOT IT I GOT IT TODAY!!!!

And I went ahead and bought The Wiz anniversary edition, and I watched it tonight (haven't seen it in YEEEEEEEEARS).

I'm so happy. :D

I envy you guys, i preordered mine from amazon haven't got it yet, went to Walmart and they were all sold out the lady in front of me got the last 2001 edition of Thriller they had plus OTW, Dangerous and the last copy of Invincible they had. I hope SONY ships plenty for next week so the sales can rise on the chart.

I really haven't had the chance of buying the album so I went today. First stop, Wal-Mart, I wanted the one from there because they have Number Ones DVD included. I don't see it anywhere and then I ask someone that works there and he's like "No we don't have it yet." I was like :huh:. Then I asked the girl that actually works at the electronics department and said they sold-out. She said they have been filling the rack each day since it came out and they fly off the shelves.

2nd Stop: Best Buy. I go straight for Jackson (Last name) I start looking around and find nothing. There was a guy stacking some video games next to me and said, "You lookin for T25." And I looked at him surprised, and he was like "Yeah they're all gone, everyday we've sold-out!":eek: I grunted and left. "Thanks anyway!"

3rd Stop: Circuit City. Music section, Jackson, no Jackson...nothing!! They had a big shelve in the front with all MJ's music but T25 wasn't there. I ask the guy and he's like "We'll we only have 20 of them in the back and they all have HOLD stickers on them. You're not the first person to come and ask for the CD." Then he was like "But I'll give you one if you don't say anything." I laughed and got my CD!! Woot woot!! :D

I have it now...I can breathe!! :D - Sorry about it being s long, I just wanted to share it with you guys!

Every store near me is basically sold out, not just of Thriller 25 but of ALL Michael Jackson albums. Target had at least two rows of Thriller 25 (with bonus mix) and the very last one sold out just as I got there (new shipment expected Monday); all other MJ albums/DVDs were also sold out. Wal-Mart has just a single (Zombie cover) copy left, and all other MJ albums are also sold out. One store I went to said their shipment was delayed and so they never even got the album in yet :doh:.

same here
i went everywhere to get a copy and they had sold out so i went to Asda and luckily enough they had copys left and i got it finally

Did your cousin open his album yet and listen to it? I really want to know if "GTT" is on there. Also what made him think "GTT" was on his album if he hadn't opened it yet (at the time)?
 
Went to F.Y.E. they just had the regular T25 Zombie & Classic, so went to Best Buy & the guy said they sold out of the case book Edition, & they had 1 regular classic cover left! I got that, & my uncle ordered the casebook one there from their website!! & On our way back Billie Jean came on the Radio!!!

F.Y.E. where I am had the regular one (Jewel Case) Zombie & Classic & only a couple at that, not the casebook. My casebook is on order at Bestbuy.com the store sold out of them!

Sony needs to ship them out faster if they want a #1. Most people would not go thru the hassle of going to different stores to find one. That's a lot of lost sales for T25.

I am so SAD right now... I've received a mail from Amazon telling me that the preorder I've did gonna be soo late and they advice cancelling it or they ask for an aprovement over this lateness. i'll gonna get it only on APRIL! :unsure::(

And I've been among the first ones to preorder Thriller25 ( not the deluxe one ) and The Girl is Mine single. WHY? WHY? :mad:

for you guys looking for T25 still i can almost almost promise you that if there is a sams club most people might not know to buy from there but i know because im an employee at the store and where i work there is not many but the walmart special edition so fans!!!! if there is a sams club in your state give it a stop you might be suprised and find more then you think just give sam's a ride by if you have one.
 
Got mine yesterday. After calling several places and being told it was SOLD OUT, I finally found a copy at Target.

I love what he said to his mother in the CD cover.

Michael, I also want to thank your mother for her love, strength, compassion, spiritual wisdom and guidance. She's an awesome woman that raised an awesome son. You are definitely a reflection of her.

Thriller 25 is alive y'all, and it's movin' FAST!!

I got mine yesterday. Lovin the remixes, though I'm not so fond of Beat It featuring Fergie. I guess it's gonna have to grow on me lol!!
 
I must be the only one who likes the Fergie/Beat It Remix. It's my idea of the perfect way to make a futuristic remix.
 
I dont like any of the remixes. MJ should have left all the classic songs alone. I think he ruined T-25 with William, Fergie, Akon. I just bought T-25 for a friend and he said he was very disappointed. He said it sounds like Fergie was sitting on a toilet trying to take a s#!T. ~LMDO~

Finally, I've got mine! :) It sure is hard to get a hold of. I'm in Montreal Canada. Here's my story.

Last Tues. after work I went to Walmart, was told there were no more left. Went to another music store here in Montreal (Archambault) and was told there were no more. I didn't get a chance to shop again until today. I went back to Walmart, and they didn't have the zombie cover one, which was the one I wanted. At least they had the classic one. I went back to Archambault, they still didn't have any at all. Tried HMV, and they had none at all either.

So I went back to Walmart and bought a classic. Hell, at least I've got one; it seems others aren't so lucky.

Why are there so few to be had? I don't get it. Sure is hard to understand...

Oh well, Go Michael! :D

Oh yeah, it was kinda funny. When I went back to buy it at Walmart, there was someone else buying it ahead of me. So I said (kinda lame) ''hey. that's good; it's Michael!'', and she smiled back at me. And I never talk to strangers at stores, lol!

YEAHH

Just went to my local super market and even though I bought the deluxe edition on the day of release and have ordered all the diferent versions on Amazon I had to buy Thriller 25 again when I saw it there. :)

In Denmark, or at least in this supermarked (Føtex), they ONLY sell CD's which is on the danish charts, think it's top 10 or top 20, not sure though. But as Thriller this week is #3 in Denmark they only just got it, which means that more people will see the album because it's now 4 sale in big stores.

But anyway now I have 2 different versions of Thriller 25. I still wait 4 my order from amazon, because I ordered some stuff that hasn't been released yet they will wait and send it all together, it's cheaper.
 
My casebook edition from Amazon arrived today! :jump: It's so pretty! :wub: Lovin' the hologram zombie cover, too. This one is definitely the collector one. The other 2 I bought...one will be for the car, and the other for the house.

Hmmm.....the office could proabably use a copy, too. :D
