So first, I have to say I do not know all the information & so most of you are probably going to say to read the documents, etc.

But right now I am so confused ; I heard both reports that 1. Michael prior to him calling anyone, & prior to Dr. Murray getting to him, MJ had no other drugs in his system.
Then I heard that a drug called 'hydrocodone' aka vicodin was in Michael's blood. As well as, the Propofol.

Can someone please clear it up for me- was Propofol the only thing that was administered & Michael was cleaned for a long time & healthy even.

LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide caused primarily by the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative, the coroner announced Friday in a highly anticipated ruling increasing the likelihood of criminal charges against the pop star’s doctor.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office determined the cause of death was “acute propofol intoxication.” Lorazepam, another sedative sold under the brand name Ativan, contributed to the death.

Additional drugs detected in Jackson’s system were the sedatives midazolam and diazepam, the painkiller lidocaine and the stimulant ephedrine.

Still, those are not the official autopsy results, right?

Because they have not been released till this day.

Is that what people heard, or is it just small leaks of the official results?

the above is an offical press release. stating COD. your confusing that with the autopsey leak.

The article says, with info coming from the AP, that "Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide caused primarily by the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative, the coroner announced Friday in a highly anticipated ruling increasing the likelihood of criminal charges against the pop star’s doctor."

Article date is August 28. This was info released by the coroner in a statement in August:
"The coroner did not release Jackson’s full autopsy report, citing a security hold requested by Los Angeles authorities investigating the case, and declined to comment beyond a short statement announcing the manner and cause of death."

Hydrocodone, aka vicodin is an opiate (pain-killer). That and Demerol were mentioned in the earliest media reports, but not in the official (but brief) coroner's press release. That press release mentioned NO opiates. It would seem that the early reports were trying to say that Michael self-medicated, i.e. it was his fault. I believe it was Nurse Lee who first mentioned the propofol, and then there were Murray's statements on those search warrants. After the propofol was first mentioned, then people crawled out from under rocks saying, "propofol! propofol!" The "story" that Michael had taken opiates went away then, and was never confirmed by any (partial) coroner's report that we've seen. The other drugs mentioned were medications for inducing sleepiness/sleep, or were the rescue drugs to counteract the respiratory arrest. The point being, it seems that Michael was "clean" of opiates at the time of his death. (It was the opiates he had problems with before, i.e. his "Mexico City" audio tape that he made right before going into rehab for "a dependency on pain-killing medications.")

Okay, but still it is not the entire autopsy results.

I don't see why Michael would not keep his body clean and healthy if he has a second physical scheduled right before his depart for London.

I think Michael was healthy because wouldn't he know the trace of the drugs could stay in his system for days? I'm sure, he didn't want to recieve any results that would take away his okay to go to London.

That is the part that confuses me.

so i guess that was everything otherwise it would be mentioned?

what confuses you? only if u believe he was taking drugs. lee said she did tests on mj and he was clean in arpril.and his organs bar his lungs were fine. not something u get with long term abuse.

Aside from the propofol, the medications MJ took were anti-anxiety meds, and which also can be used as sleep aids. Perhaps MJ took them for anxiety AND insomnia, or perhaps just for the insomnia. We do not know. But either way, to me, it's not a matter of keeping his body "clean." If he could not sleep, and he really needed to sleep and get rested, then it's not odd that he would take something to help him do that. I doubt that if the meds he was taking to help him sleep showed up in some sort of tests that would send up in red flags or something. They weren't narcotics or things of that nature.

The official autopsy results have never been released, and may never be.

I believe that Michael was clean of any addictive drugs, especially the opiates that he had problems with in the past. My understanding is the propofol is not physically addicting. I don't necessary believe the propofol stories anyway. That propofol was suddenly mentioned seems just too convenient to me. It's a medication that dissipates rapidly. It may have been thought that it would leave his body quickly, and hence the delay in calling 911?

probably seeing as murray never told the docs about it. he prob just hoped it would be called a OD by loz.

If nurse lee or whoever had never mentioned the propofol, wouldn't mj's death just have been put down to a 'regular' overdose? The investiagtion wouldn't be as big as it is now.

I don't know. Wasn't 50 mg of propofol found inside Michael's body from the list of drugs released that was found in his system?

And personally, I believe Michael was not heavily dependant on all those drugs during that last days or even weeks of his death. Something tells me that he just wasnt, I don't know what. And to have an overdose all of a sudden sounds suspicous.

Because what if autopsy results find Michael's body was not really dependent of all those drugs? Yet, he died of an overdoese.

But if they found out Michael's body was use to taking all those medications at once....well, I personally don't believe that so I won't go there.

That is just my opinion though.

I don't think we know the exact amount of propofol found, it just says acute in the coronors report.
And yeah i also believe he wasn't heavily dependant on the drugs, and the report said all major organs were fine so...If theres a definate way of knowing how long mj had been taking those kinda drugs to sleep or whatever and it turns out he hasn't been taking them for weeks/months THEN it would look suspicious, but if theres no definate way to tell then i dont know if the police would start looking at it like that.

What i was saying about the propofol was that, i've seen alot of people say that they are suspicious of lee for mentioning propofol out of the blue and such, but isn't it a good thing that she mentioned it? Considering that its the drug that killed him...If she had never mentioned it no one would have bothered looking for it.

You're right, the autopsy results have never been officially released. But a lot of people take the autopsy results leaked by the AP as fact as unlike the ones the tabloids produced the LAPD never denied it and respected sources such as ABC, BBC, CNN all published the AP's autopsy findings.

I want to know why gave him ephedrine? The combination of ephedrine and antidepressants is crazy and very dangerous. If they really did find this kind of mix in his system it proves that he was killed. I do not understand why nobody was arrested yet.

Murray claimed in his interview with the police officers that the whole reason he gave MJ the other drugs ' benzo' was in an attempt to wean MJ off of propofol .

well, you wean people off propofol with PILLS , not with drugs through IV , especially not MIDAZOLAM which its use is as dangerous and absurd as using propofol , and lorazepam through an IV is SO MUCH DANGEROUS .

let's go back to propofol :

MURRAY told your affiant that he was not the first doctor to introduce JACKSON to PROPOFOL(DIPRIVAN). MURRAY stated that JACKSON was very familiar with the drug and referred to it as his "milk." PROPOFOL (DIPRIVAN) has a milk appearance. JACKSON would also refer to the LIDOCAINE (XYLOCAINE) as "anti-burn." According to the Physician's Desk Reference (PDR),PROPROFOL (DIPRIVAN) creates a burning sensation at the injection site and LIDOCAINE (XYLOCAINE) can be used to relieve the discomfort.

so that particular drug was given with propofol only , indeed each time propofol is given this drug is given to avoid the burning sensation at the injection site , very usual .

May 12, Murray bought propofol, lidocaine, midazolam and flumazenil from Applied pharmacy according to the search warrant .

that was during the first days of the whole "six weeks of propofol" claims by murray , so at the time there was no need to wean mj off of anything , why would he buy midazolam ?

like lidocaine , midazolam OR lorazepam are given usually before giving propofol . and that's how midazolam ended in mj's body that nightm it was part of the whole propofol package . as for lorazepam I said it many times before , that drug was given that night to push mj over the edge .
