Alright I was looking through the pics section of the forum and stumbled across this picture. As soon as I saw it I was startled, in a good way. I had a really really really deep thought.

This picture resembles a crazy ensemble a child or possibly some one would wear in a fantasy movie or some kind of crazy dream. MJ's wardrobe really is over the top sometimes but in a good way. His whole appearance reminds me of like a Peter Pan type outfit, or some kind of space outfit. It's hard to sum up b/c the thought came to me so quickly but it seems like he's trying to have himself viewed either differently than everbody else or trying to be viewed as a higher being b/c of his clothes I don't know exactly. I wish there was some kind of way to determine what certain clothes and colors mean when poeple wear them, I know there has to be something like that.

 
Well of course he wants to keep a unique style. He wears things others find 'unfashionable' on purpose lol And by anyone's standards tight glittery jeans and glittery shin guards are definitely different :lol:

He wears a lot of military things, so that might give u the illusion of 'power'...but i think MJ wears them to reflect 'strength'.

But actually MJ does make 'dreams come true' but not on PURPOSE i think, I believe hes just a true gentleman to EVERYONE, and it doesn't matter where he's at, what mood he's in, if he's on stage, or at a meet/greet...MJ is just so gracious and nice.

For instance, that night of the picture, he bent down to put on this girl's sandal...and it was like PRINCE CHARMING and CINDERELLA! :lol: He got down on ONE KNEE man! That's one lucky girl lol

And another example....MJ on the history tour during YANA...Straight fairy tale land for EVERY girl lucky enough to get on stage with Mike. Michael just makes it SO SPECIAL every time for those girls...and even though it's an act, it's 5 seconds of pure DREAM WORLD for the girls :lol: To DANCE, not just hug MJ...but DANCE with Michael...(and MJ somehow makes everyone that gets up there look good dancing lol)...is just a dream come true. Really. I just envision myself every time i see that with him.

I see nobody's up to the challeneg of elaborating on what i think...everybody trails off into their little own ''MJ GOLD PANTS BLAH BLAH HE'S HOT BLAH" rubbish, damn i'm glad im a guy.

And you were' missing the point by the way. I was saying his image if anything sparks the imagination for people to view him as some kind of fantasy creature who changes form, styles, shapes, colors, everything. (Not referancing his surgeries.) From a dark zombie creature wearing a red jacket, to all black thug covered in belt buckles from head to toe, or someone who can morph into a robot, a panther, or a ghoul for that matter. It appeals to anything fantasy as he's made himself into one.
 
excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusse me for talking about how MJ 'sparks imagination' for girls. I did understand what you're saying and that's exactly what I'm talking about...what i said is included in all that you've mentioned.

I think Michael just understands what catches the eye. He knows how to look the part of a star. When you see Michael, you see a star, plain and simple. You see a lot of today's acts and they're just so mundane and typical looking, they don't look any different from some highschooler walking down the street, wearing their air jordans, their baseball caps, their baggy pants and their jerseys. Michael has what you would call real style. It stands out, and that's what it's supposed to do. Plus he's got the perfect build to make cloths look good. Tall and thin. He looks extraordinary and that's enhanced by his captavating personallity.
 
I think what we are seeing is another example of how creative Michael is. I think he is NATURALLY creative, which means he automatically thinks out of the box. He is automatically attracted to such things and he enjoys setting trends not just following them. He is not afraid to experiment and try things that the average person would either not think of or would just dismiss because it's just "not done". If you're a creative person, as creative as he is, you don't think like that. You don't let the voice of the world automatically stop you from following your instincts, your gut. If he did then he would lose a lot of his creativity. I think most men would not have worn the glittery trouseurs and they probably would not suit them. But then if they are not performers or some sort of artist, they are not likely to anyway. The interesting clothes Michael wears suit him because he is being himself, a creative person.
 
Michael found out at an early age how to become immortal, like chaplin, michaelangelo and mozart, etc. I think the choices he makes and the way he lives contributes alot to the art that he makes. That way both the music and the legend will live forever. Let's be real, michael creates art through music first then through his life.

I agree, but I don't necessarily think that it is intentional. I truly believe that MJ couldn't have planned this, nobody could. It just happens to MJ. That is it.:)
 
Well duh people, Michael is one of the space aliens who came down to visit earth...he will probably return to the mothership within the next 15 years or so, and if we want to survive we'll have to go with him, because soon enough the entire earth will be destroyed due to our carelessness...

Seriously though, Michael is an innovator...he's an original! It's wonderful! Embrace it, love it! I believe that Michael dresses like the royalty he is. Like a King! :)
